Can anyone recommend an ip hiding//proxy software thats reliable?

Get some private proxies and load them into Proxyfirewall
 
My experience with TOR / Foxyproxy is that it was too slow to be of much use... there has to be a better way.

Try MetroPipe Tunneler. Cost a few bucks but worth it. I've used it for some y*utube vids and earned a "most viewed" status for my video in Germany. Y*utube thought all the hits came from there. Pretty cool.....:cool:
 
anybody heard about steganos anonymizer or something like that ?

Have anybody tried that software ? I have read on computer magazine, that software is really good, haven't tried it yet, though.
 
i think the most reliable way to hide your IP is to buy some private proxies and load them into proxyfirewall
 
If you don't mind below-average speed, you can just try using the ProxySwitcher addon for Firefox. If you buy some good proxies, things will go fast.
 
Been using UltraSurf but speed, especially download is slow.
Switched to Freegate and download speed is fantastic. Use with Gpass proxy manager as an addon for Firefox.

Cloakfish is a modified tor with gui and backend servers handling the load, testing the network.
It aims to give more control (like you choose the IP you want to use), remove some of the drawbacks and give higher speed or higher anonymity as option.

It has about 400 ips per day,a few thousand different per month.

But it's not free.
 
hide-my-ip. very easy to use and it does the job very fine.Recomended
 
Besides private proxies a VPN is the next best way to fully hide your IP from websites. You could also get a dynamic DSL connection and just reset the modem as needed. Or sometimes I also use an Aircard to get an IP on the fly if I need to do something quick.
 
Tor is very slow, you might as well get dial up....they are about the same! lol

I am interested in getting freegate.. anyone knows where to get freegate?
 
I normally use my own. I have my proxy script that i load up on free servers as well as my own. Sure its not really anonymous but it works for me to the most part.

Here is the script i use.

Hope someone gets use out of this script. Works good for me.

I use hide my ip, but I found privoxy(privoxy(dot)org) and tried it out. It has the same basic options as hide my ip and it's free.
