i have dedicated hosting for my companies website, im finding when using it every couple of minutes browsing between pages i get this error

Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at www.mywebsite.com.
The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

i get the same in google and chrome.

I reset the server last night but the problems still happening, any advice would be hugely appreciated

Check the error log to see what is happening...

I think this problem appears in your personal computer or your server because i have checked your web site here is your web site is fine

Pretty sure mywebsite.com is not his real website address.

check with downforeveryoneorjustme.com
also send a ticket to your hosting company

The first thing you need to do is like was suggested above and check the logs to see if you can find any issues.

If that does not give you any insight you need to sign up for a couple of the website uptime monitoring sites and have them checking to see if they get the same results. Most all of them have free accounts for just a few urls.

If the other sites do not show the site going down then you know it is either your location or somewhere in between.

Try doing a tracert from the command line and see where the connect hangs up. You can do a ping as well and see what kinds of times you are getting.

While most of the time it ends up being a server type issue I have had a few times when the problem was me or someplace on the path between me and the server so you need to make sure what the problem actually is before you can fix it.
