Hello I was wondering if you could answer a couple basic questions about content locking or if you can point me to a thread that explains it.
I have a website receiving about 1500 visitors per day that is not monetized at all. I want to lock a portion of the content on the website in a locker.
When I was learning about content locking people sent me to several different companies that do lockers, ie: cpa lead, leadbolt, adscendmedia, adworkmedia, but I seem to be misunderstanding something.
All of those websites I go to and sign up with and then they give me the code to put on my website to lock the content. I assume they also populate the surveys or offers that are given to my visitors when they go to unlock the content.
Now, if I was to purchase CLP ver.2 and installed it on my website, I am correct in thinking that the ads wouldn't come with the software right? Just the software to actually lock a portion of my website?
So I think I'm missing something, there is a definite disconnect here. Why would I pay for software to lock a portion of my content when the above websites do that for me for free and also provide the ads for me?
Again, excuse my ignorance, I know very little about content lockers.
