GSA Search Engine Ranker worth it?

Fill out the feedback form on the GSA site and Sven will get back to you. Promise.

I've upgraded to 1.64 (was on 1.61 before, so 1.64 must have been released today). It flies like a bird now. :) It seems it's truly per-project multi-threaded which is very good!

Im looking for more shares about this software to get it.
Right now i don't know with get:

NHSeo
Scrapejet
or this one.

Whats do you think?

Well what do you think this thread is about? It's exactly about this topic; asking if GSA's program is really better than the other two. And if you read it closely you might come to the conclusion that this is indeed the case (at least with the latest version of GSA Search Engine Ranker and its thread option).

Anyway I am more than happy with it (bought it yesterday).

I wouldn't say just yet that SER is better than nhSEO. They are different enough right now to be complementary and not direct competitors. SER hits many platforms while nhSEO offers a massive blog commenting edge.

Over time, and not too long at that, these two will become more true competitors.

SER's more direct competitor is Backlink Brigand. And in that comparison SER wins. I've had BB since mid/late August. I've done the 5-day SER trial. SER is overall better. Not better in every respect. But I feel comfortable in recommending SER over BB to someone making a choice.

Just how big SER's edge is over BB I still don't know. Until last night my home machine (the one I use for this work) was a real dog. Old CPU and blah motherboard. Last night I picked up a new box with a speedy quad core and a nice mobo. Life is sehr gut!

This is relevant why? BB offers a screen that allows one to meter core usage. Looks cool to me. I've got to try that out. I doubt I'll get to that tonight. This will probably have to wait until the weekend.

There is a catch; SER is more expensive than BB. I think with the BHW discount BB is still $57. Maybe that has changed. I still think SER is the better choice.

TheEditor,

Thanks for your reply, and was waiting for that. I will take it to test. A lot of people can't be wrong.

Thanks again.

You're welcome. After your purchase, just post here with your experience for others.

Lol, had to put a new order into At&t for more bandwidth..besides my physical servers sitting in the Houston Colo, I've got 3 laptops (16gb's each) all running different submitter hardware. I need to post up a thread soon of a review of GSA's program. It's "good" but in comparison to other tools there are cheaper tools (Backlink Brigand) that sorta do the same thing AND you can teach that tool new platforms as well.

Sheesh..I've got Scrapejet, Nohands, Scrapeboard, Backlink Brigand and now GSA all running across three different comps on my home network..bring da pain!

Yeah BB is cheaper. The developer is promising some updates. But other than the "no hands" screen and CS integration there has been precious little development in the last 5 months. There are still some real amateurish things in that prog.

I'm working towards developing something like what you've got running.

Post here when you do the new thread.

BTW, is all the ram necessary for these progs?

Ah, I've seen you post on the forums over there..i'm pretty active there as well..you'll notice one of my posts from today..

I'm not sure if all the ram is necessary, per se, but the bandwidth sure as hell is. I've got multipe Dell M4600's outfit with quadcores's and 16gb of ram by default so I'm just using what I have.

I've got another test going on right now: 4000 pligg submissions with UltimateDemon..curious to see how that performs.

Ok, I thought I recognized your nick. Its hard to restrain myself from really blowing up on the BB board. I've got to remember my manners. Still after 5+ months BB doesn't even manage proper Taskbar behavior on my box when it first opens.

Well, on the now *old* box. I hope to get an install up on my new machine and we'll see.

Gonna PM you.

Yea, definitely immature software from a gui perspective, but the damn thing does work lol. At a price point of $55'ish bux, you can't go wrong. I just wish Mark would do more from the development side of things, just like you said. I think he's around here on BHW as well. I know I've sent a bunch of people to hit site via my http://www.seotooluniverse.com site so you gotta figure people have bought it and use it.

Personally, I'd love to make a run at him and buy the software outright, and keep him on as a dev and fashion a better gui, a gui for platform building, and couple more options and raise the price. It'd be a home run hitter ;)

Ahhh yes. Great idea. To quote the great bard, "I want to party with you, cowboy".

So I bought the GSA tool and i've literally been beating the hell out of it. You guys can thank me for the update option where you can now CLONE project sites. I sent that request into Sven and the dude knocked it out the park. It wasn't that big of a pain to set each site up with the right search engines, descriptions, yadda yadda yadda, BUT, every efficient step helps, right?

Now, he's got other captcha providers coming into some further updates. That's going to help with the $6/captcha rating that it is currently...

Did Sven say anything about Captcha Sniper?

I requested multiple times for other Captcha support like DBC. Once that is implemented, I'll actually buy it, but until then I'll stick with the trial.

With GSA Search Engine Ranker you will never have to care about back links again. This software can run endlessly and create back links for you 7 days a week. Unlike other SEO tools it will not need a database of submission website.

Does anyone get how the multiple URL spintax works?

I used the format like they show:

Code:
{http://www.gsa-online.de#software development, seo tools|
                http://email.verifier.gsa-online.de#email verification software,verify emails|
                http://some.other-url.com#keyword1,keyword2,..}
I load that in the URL's box then what do I use in the anchor text box? I sent Sven an email just a couple of minutes ago but I was hoping someone here could answer faster.

Anyone use this feature?

New update came out today - More catcha support
Now supports Deathbycaptcha, Decaptcha and BypassCaptcha

You have to love this company, they listen to what we want and actually update their software. It's nice to deal with a truly professional company for a change.
