BHW needs to stop these punks now

I am a member of the forum for only One year and sincerely the Forum changed a lot since that time.

There must be "A Do Not Flam" sticky on every sub forum.

I believe you are referring to that post, where the guy was bashing the new registered guy just because "I've been on these forums for three years and I can be as mean as I want".

To be fair, although I'm sure a couple of the people on that thread could have worded things a little differently, if you looked at the OPs posts (40 over the past day) it could look very much like there was an agenda behind their post (in terms of building a rep quickly in order to potentially build trust/make sales).

Their behaviour, IMO, appeared to warrant some attention - and as their posts have been deleted, and their account banned, I'm assuming that others felt something wasn't quite right there either (either that or their bypassing the rules by getting someone else to post content for them wasn't well received).

Ganging up on people clearly shouldn't be tolerated, but moderators on a site this size clearly need some community spirit to back them up/assist, so calling someone out (albeit in a pretty blunt way) shouldn't be a bad thing surely?

Perhaps it would have been a better course of action to report that particular users behaviour for mod investigation rather than posting bluntly on the thread, but forums like this move fast, perhaps the people doing the "bashing" felt they were trying to prevent newbies falling foul of someone who may not have had alterior motives from taking advantage of them.

Well said OP, it used to be that sh*theads like these were banned in a second a few years ago, but now anyone can do pretty much anything and get away with it. not the same place it once was which is sad. Only the Admins really have the power to change things - if the mods aren't doing they're job.

At $10 a year 0.1% of the existing members will sign up. Lots of people simply aren't willing or aren't able to pay for a membership to a forum. We will lose a lot of very good quality threads and posts. A lot of new member start threads with very little information, and they can explode into great discussions with thousands of views. If the servers can handle it, then I think the BHW owner would like to see as many threads as possible, except for spam or threads against the rules.

That won't make a bit of difference. To be honest the members that piss me off the most are those that are Jr Vips and then think of themselves as elitists belittling other regular members. Donating or subscribing to Jr Vip does not make anyone better, it's just a personal decision.

Making the forum invite-only also isn't a good idea, I originally found the forum through a Google search as I'm sure many others did as well.

Personally I think there should be tougher rules on offensive and useless posts. Bottom line should be keep it professional, or put it in the lounge, period.

Anytime, there will be atleast 3 to 4 moderators being online. Just hit the report button, if you feel posts are inappropriate and we will initiate necessary action, if it seems fit.

Hey BB

Yes, that is what I do; I report probably 10 posts every day. And that is what bugs me. Why give people a chance to create non-sense here?

Now, I'm not doubting the ability and the work of mods, they are great! But BHW has now grown. It needs to be closed now, or at least highly exclusive. Make the registration process as difficult as a job interview.

Just my 2 cents (more).

OK...let see what if?

If we make BHW an invite-only forum?
Then you'll see a thread in other forum similar to the thread in BHW lounge asking for TP2P invites.

If we leave it as it is and let those DP's & WF's people to join in?
Then the warrior's sales will drop since everyone getting it for free in the BHW dowload section.
We (B-Hatters) can't sell craps on WF anymore because most of them are here.

If everyone do their part by clicking the report post button?
Imagine 5 click x 100 user x 1 day = 500 reports/day for the Mods (voluntarily job) to check into.
But trust me they (Mod) are doing their level best to do their part in moderating the forum.

If we give the 'scumbag' an advice to behave properly in the thread?
Trust me it won't stop there as he/she wont accept it and will reply again and it will only prolong the argument.

If we just ban that 'mothafucka' who don't behave or act childishly?
That will only turn BHW into a very strict forum and like Wiz said it's very hard to exercise the best practice.
But then again 'this people' on coming with a different ID or different people with the same idiot mentality.

yeah it's very complicated right?

All i can say is that this 'shit' happen because everyone have different way of thinking.
At the end, it depends on how the way you were brought up... (Yes please do blame it on your parent)

During my teenagers time, I myself make lots of stupid mistake in life and sometimes i do act childishly as well.
But once you grow up, once you are married, once you have kids, slowly you will change and the word is 'Matured'
But some people do have the capability to think and act maturely when they are still teenager.
Like i said again, depend on how the way they brought up....

So if there is any teenagers or childish forumer here currently reading my post...Listen here:

- BHW is about a business community minded forum
- Do you want other's to respect you in this forum?
- Do you want to be treated as an adult?
- Do you want to learn lot's of other stuff beyond your imagination?
- Do you want to make friends with well knowledgeable Blackhat mastermind?

The only thing that you need to do is to grow up and act maturely....
Or at least try to pretend that you are matured.

This is a virtual world, people can't see your face.
So this is your chance to play a role as an adult and earn some respect from others.

My advice: Think Before You Post :)

Well, every post of the OP of that topic was with the intent of helping, he passed several hours with members helping with their problems, and he also made 2 posts here, that I think the moderator deleted:

3 Infractions:
1- Make someone post for him
2- Go agains't a mod decision
3- Spam in the mod message (sent 2 messages in a row)

He deserved to be banned!!! When someone posted a thread asking for designer and coders to make an theme for $$, he did it for free!!!

And he even opened a thread to make free designs!!

He had low posts, because he tried to only post on places that he felt would contribute with something...

He deserve that

I don't know if he was trying to scam anyone or not, but it seens anytime someone try to do anything good, its because he's trying to sell something...

I believe you are referring to that post, where the guy was bashing the new registered guy just because "I've been on these forums for three years and I can be as mean as I want". Jdog92 or something. Why? Because the OP forgot his old account, registered a new one, and got a friend to post the method which he used to earn $70k over the last year because he couldn't. Jdog92 kept making pointless accusations about newbies posting proof of earnings trying to sell their methods, whereas the OP was trying to do no such thing, and was actually helping out people in his thread.

Another stupid thing that made my eyes bleed was a JUNIOR VIP accusing the OP of racism just because he typed "Hello, Black haters ;)" instead of "black hatters", TWICE, Even after the OP explained his english wasn't very well, which was also clear throughout the thread. In the second post he accused him of lying about not being racist because he used the ;) smiley =_=

All I can say is: You can't cure stupidity. Let them do their thing, and you do yours and help the OP.
/EndRant
I go back to building backlinks.
I am the jdog guy and you are almost spot on about the quote where I said "I have been on this forum for almost 3 years and I can be as mean as I want" But in that particular post I also said that I would not ever use someone elses email to register at a forum. I did also ask anonimon to tell us his previous username, to which he later declined to answer.

That was in response to anonimon's response to my only other post on that thread.
He said "you dont have to be so mean"... and then he proceeded to spin some kind of bullshit about using a friends email to sign up with BHW cause he did not wanna use his own and then forgot his password and blah blah blah.

My first and only other post on that thread was calling him out for bypassing the moderation system and getting another user to make a post for him that had been triggering the spam filters. Think I also ask him if his other account was banned and said I was gonna report him. Which I did.

Had he simply got the dude to post the method and went from there... all would have been fine. I would not have noticed a thing. But in the post he had to mention being here for like 2 years, using 2 of his friends accounts to post here and also having one of his own that he lost. Like it would help build his credibility.

As to the portion of your quote below... You got your wires all twisted cause I had nothing to do with those statements. I would appreciate if you would edit that out of your post.

Jdog92 kept making pointless accusations about newbies posting proof of earnings trying to sell their methods, whereas the OP was trying to do no such thing, and was actually helping out people in his thread.

I would like to say I am sorry for how things turned out... But I can't. Something wasn't right about that dude.

You guys have to take the good with the bad.

---An invite only forum has the security of a closed nit group and tightly controlled (but potentially much more valuable) information that comes at the risk of innovation....

---An open forum has the security of innovation but also runs risk of lightly unregulated behavior and less valuable information (unless its put in exce VIP, based on the invite system)......

There is NO solution without its pros and cons!

You also can't expect people to be on there best behavior when its easy to sign up for an account here.

THATS THE RISK YOU TAKE WHEN DEALING WITH AN OPEN FORUM BASED ON A OPEN AND FREE INTERNET!!

I've said it before, I'll say it again:

Your friends are here...

Your enemies are here.....

Your competition is here......

Your next business partner is more then likely here.....

Scammers looking to scam you are here......

People with LOW SELF ESTEEM who get there sense of self worth thru the attention they get from the rep system are here............

Unless BHW changes its signup process, this will not change. And.....it may get worse.

What does that mean?

Simple....learn to think for yourself and stop asking BHW to hold your hand (or turn water into wine, etc.) That goes for everything.

Otherwise, DEAL WITH IT!!! And face the consequences of your actions.....

There is a rep button on every page with posts.

What can be done is to create some button with "booo!" function and it must have report description box, available to everyone to see, why you are not happy with flamer's post. If it reaches 10-20 unique IP boos' temporary ban for week must be activated automatically. Of course, to prevent the exploitation of the system must be provided banned member - mod get back connection through email available. Something in the lines: "Unban me, please". Mod then can deside if flamer deserved the ban and unban her/him or keep the ban.
