What happened to AMR?

I used to be able to get 800 successful directories posted to.

Now I'll be lucky if I get 200.

And also there's only 2000 directories in the list compared to the old

5800. Anyone know if this software is not usefull anymore?

Or maybe I'm missing something?

On another note, I've checked to see how many got indexed a month later.

and only 2 out of 400 got indexed. WOW.

I am experiencing the same with AMR :( sudden drop of the success rate, let's hope this gets fixed soon...

Like Gary said, you have to keep looking to grab new directories. I constantly scrape new ones and blacklist old ones.

Though I wouldn't mind if the program was a bit more flexible, it's working just fine on my end. GST's article club is a good idea. I may set up a few in the future.

I still get the same success rate as I did last month... so yeah.

How is Vince going to fix it????? Please, do tell!

The Dev can't fix something he has no control over.

Article directories go offline, stop accepting articles, etc.. Nothing Vince can do.

As they say, "That's a fact Jack!" Vince has absolutely no control over the variables that are causing AMR users to have a low success rate in comparison to how things were with AMR this time last year.

When AMR first came out, I grabbed that free WP article directory theme that everyone else grabbed and launched about 25 article directories, all on different hosts. I quickly learned that even with W3 Total Cache or WP Super Cache and few additional plugins - that theme was a resource HOG on a shared hosting account! Needless to say, it was not worth for me to place these 25 ADs on my DEDI because they were not generating income; they were just for BLs.

After trying numerous configurations and still redlining the CPU resources, I finally pulled the plug on those article directories as far as that theme and WP is concerned. Since then, life has been smooth sailing. What I did, is what a ton of other people have done and again, Vince has no control over that.

One other variable Vince has no control over; many AMR users scrape articles, mash them, spin them and then stick them into AMR and press, "GO!" It never dawned on them that g00gal would create panda poo and turn their world upside down. It's kinda hard for g00gal or site owners to overlook gibberish like this:

Commenters demanded that the automoblie be canceled started, the a petition amongst to rights, and some began visionary threatening among is village groups with increased incendiary and rates. the most quotes received comments by insurance commissioner the moderator.
What AD owner in their right mind would allow that gunk to stick to their site? This is another variable AMR users have to deal with.

I was supposed to buy this tool now... but i guess i may have to pass. :(

Guys.. you just have to know how to use it and how to get more directories. It's not rocket science, either. There is tons of material and ideas on the subject. With just the AMR directory downloads on BHW you can get some nice live links.

Be creative. Blacklist the bad. Scale it up and go.

Why? It's still a good tool. Just because it doesn't guarantee $5000 overnight, doesn't mean you should give up on it.

Thanks for keeping me straight bro! I seem to always forget that these tools needs to be utilized to work and not just one time-investment automatic money making machine. :)

definitely scrape and build your own directory lists

don't spam the directories and they'll last longer

since the Panda Update a lot of directories stoped their Service nobody can stop this trend

It really depends on what you do... good quality + good content = good results.

I have a few pages from subs in may/june that are pr2 right now :)
