@ohaider - Well you're right as to what it refers to, but it isn't actually "teenage" slang. It would be more accurate to call it "internet jargon" or "hacker jargon", if you wanted to assign it a label at all.
As you say though, "warez" does refer overall to pirated software. It can actually refer to any illegal copies, but typically is used in reference to cracked software or software distributed with working serial numbers or key generators.
"Warez" is as established a term as "shareware", "freeware", "spyware", or any other terminology based on the root word "software".
On the internet and/or in hacker circles, anytime you see terminology in which a "z" has been used to replace the "s" in more common terms, it usually denotes a pirated version of the original term.
Ishmam - As already mentioned in this thread you should really learn to use google. That doesn't mean learn how to type something into the search box (I'm sure you must already know how to do that), but rather learn to go there (or any search engine) as a first choice whenever you want to find some information. You'll find that strategy to be much faster and more efficient than asking questions first.
Any time you see some terminology you don't understand, try typing "what is" followed by the term you want explained into the search engine input box. In this case you would search for "what is warez".
Give it a try. You'll be amazed at how much you can learn by just doing a quick search engine query first.
