Any ideas on how to make money with these followers ?

Your price on tweets is based on many factors, like number of followers, number of tweeters your following, age of your account, often you tweet, etc. Tweets will give you price you should charge but you are not bounded by it and can set whatever price you want. I recommend you aim high and lower the price if you don?t get any bites. :slaphappy

Bro I have in times past actually marketed physically shipped goods on twitter.....through tweeting to my followers.....you need the right product...but it worked very nicely...test a couple products and then tweet to all those followers....if 1 out of 1000 hits your link per day thats 800 visitors.....that should convert most any decent product...

Problem is my twitter got suspended after I delivered around 50 orders.

That is to much work. Wow. You should build one account up with 800k followers. It's a numbers game. You could waste your time on 5k accounts.

Sell on fiverr, open up a sales page on the popular IM thread, and I even think there was one popular Pay Per Tweet or something website that pays some good money if you have a lot of followers (like your friend does).
