having a bunch of accounts with 5k each has to be more work then its worth... build one atleast to 50k and retweet other accounts from it to build up others..

It depends how automated it all is.

5,000 accounts following just 100 people a day equates to following a potential 500,000 people a day. With a very reasonable 10% follow back that's 50,000 new followers a day.

This is what I'm building up to myself (although I've working with just over 1,000 accounts).

The leg work is of course in the early days as you're setting each account up individually (although you could just use Tweet Demon to do this)... have all 5000 accounts retweeting your larger authority accounts which in turn helps that build big time!

You should open threads on BHW and Fiverr.
Offer a service like "you will make a tweet for anyone/anything on all those accounts " ..
Fix a price for that and people will come to you to market their products.

If it will work well then later on you can start selling your own products as well or can have JV with someone else.
