Hey fuck you paypal!

Heh, I have a dispute ending tomorrow if the other party doesn't respond - hope PayPal doesn't fuck with me as well. Hope everything goes all right for you.

shit-fuck i have 5k in my acount right now ..i feel vulnerable:eek:

Right,so we've determined that they are thieves.

So the solution is to make regular withdrawals and not keep a significant amount in there?

Yeah, that's smart. I'd also upgrade to a full business account and give them as much information as possible on file including full bank account etc.

You can upgrade to the Queen Elizabeth Royal account if you want to. But it still will not do any good. PP is run by a bunch of douche bags. Until people decide to quit taking this crap it they will continue to get away with it.

The only thing that will limit you exposure "not eliminate it" is to do daily withdrawals in amount of a few hundred dollars or less. Even then they will eventually get you.

My experience was when I started withdrawing more than $300 per day the account would get limited before long.

I've never had money taken from me, but my story is similar to yours.

Opened a regular account years ago. Became fully verified and got a business account. For about a year (2009-2010) my account periodically (about once a month actually) became unverified and returned to a personal account before going back to normal and finally staying that way.

To this day I have not gotten a clear explanation from PP as to why this happened.

paypal is good if you are using your true information. once i also got limited. but after submitting the proof that they asked account was back to normal.

Same happened to be, paypal is unreliable. Just setup a paypal in another name for buying stuff and use something else for billing customers or setup a new Corp and get a new acc.

they limit, take money, invest, profit, release funds. GG

Quote above says it all. PP have been doing this virtually from the beginning. Officials wont investigate because PP pays a nice large tax payment for all the major profits it earns.
They will always limit a certain amount of accounts ( some big, some small ) so they can use that money for profit. It is in fact stealing.
They actually have no right to hold your money but because they are so established and big it makes them powerful.

If only there was a rebellion of PP big enough to allow one of the other processors to take over.

shit-fuck i have 5k in my acount right now ..i feel vulnerable:eek:
. If you have a PP debit card, use it! siphon off $300-400 a week till your balance is under $100 or risk a hit. It's that simple because if/when they do you, you're going to feel pretty sick not having access to 5 large for 180 days. Believe me, as soon as I get a payment for ANYTHING, I'm at the ATM or shopping within 24hrs. I also have a backup (Google Checkout) not as good but people trust them too and they do work. My trouble with them was not really due to random closure but rather a customer who didn't get his $7 download in .00004 milliseconds and the goof went immediately and filled a complaint. Never mind the pond scum got access to the product, but PP made me refund this ass wipe then refused to unlimit my account. So when people on here talk about for 'no reason', PP will thump you for ANY REASON!

You should really try out 2checkout!

When it comes to accepting payments, they are the best.

Lol this thread is getting funny.

If PayPal legitimately stole/kept my my money I would simply take them to court as would many other business owners.

Fathom, you asked for it and here you go! I have just been made aware that there is a Class Action lawsuit filed against these freakin thieves.

Oh, and by the way, I believe Scott Thompson, the ex CEO of PayPal, made his exit from PayPal because he knows PP is about to be exposed. At any rate, here is the lawsuit info.

PayPal's Response to our Class Action

(Click Here ) *See link at bottom

Has PayPal placed a 21 Day or 180 Day Hold on ALL your funds out of the blue? Did you get the: "Get a Subpoena" reply when you asked why? ( If you were lucky enough to even GET a reply )

This is most likely the reason why you found my site, and I am here to tell you, that PayPal and eBay WILL be held accountable for this!

On May 12th 2010, a Class Action Lawsuit WAS filed against PayPal and its sister company eBay for their acts of Holding YOUR money, without justification, reasonable cause to do such and without any explanation.

You can view the Court Document by clicking Here

Tens of thousands of people have been victimized, financially ruined and or choked out of business due to PayPal's "systematic and arbitrary" freezing of people's money, without cause, reason or explanation.

The reasons for PayPal & eBay to due such, seem to be clear by those whom have fell victim to these 2 companies: Greed and Profits!

Just think of all the INTEREST PayPal earns on victims money over the 180 Days they hold it! We're talking about MULTI-MILLIONS of Dollars, some of which is YOUR money, earning THOUSANDS of dollars DAILY for PayPal, while YOU suffer without!

Then, when ( or if ) they decide to give you back your money after they generate interest off of it, they'll GLADLY keep the interest earned! ( And maybe give themselves a nice FAT raise while they're at it! )

If this infuriates you, as much as it does the rest of us, and you want to be part of the Class Action Lawsuit against these 2 "companies", just contact the Law Firm listed below to have your name added to the Lawsuit. Please mention the "LetsSuePayPal.com" website, as this is where it all began, and how the Class Action came to life.

Everyone who has been impacted by PP's actions needs to follow through on this A.S.A.P.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here is the link:

Don't forget to read the actual legal filing. I think I'm going to call Mr. Weiss first thing in the morning to find out what the status is.

I wish that would be the case. You're lucky if you haven't had problems with this asshole company. My paypal account is all legit, no fake stuff at all. They asked me for a copy of my passport, I sent it to them. After that they asked me to provide an invoice to verify my address. I was like, are you kidding me? My address is clearly mentioned on my fucking passport that they already had! I explained it to them in a polite way. But they still wanted an invoice. Shows how incredible dumb this company is. What a waste of time for me and for them too!
I can only recommend everyone to not hoard money on your paypal account. Transfer it to your bank account asap. Always!

It looks as though the motion to dismiss by Paypal was granted by the judge. I would love to know if the lawyers on the other side amended to suit. Those lawyers need to put together a stronger case or get the case moved to a different venue. I am sure Paypal has some big time lawyers and a lot of political sway, so you better know exactly what you are doing to go up against them.

Yikes! I, like you, thought this only happened to people who were doing shady things. Better watch out!!

i sell gun safes, first 10 transactions no problem, from 11 to 40+ has been hell,
AND i have 100% feedback
they suck big time

WOW,
I am using paypal since 2000 and never had a single mishap. The only negative thing I can say about them is that they poorly cover non tangible goods such as hosting and other virtual products but as far as limiting- never.
Maybe it is because I provided them with my SSN and address and creditcard number and bank account . Or maybe it is because I only receive white hat payments in there...who knows. One thing I know for sure is I wouldn't want to have my shit suspended especially if I count on it. Checked my account and I got transfer from them today.Phew, another hundred bucks safely in. :-) Life's go on!

This is not really proof that PayPal is fraudulent is it.

Anyone in here have some actual proof that PayPal are thieves? Or is it all just bullshit?

The op simply got limited, it's normal, they always do it. Provide them with proof and they will open your account.
