Have an idea, want to share it:

Make an account in forum. Do 5-10 posts daily till you reach about 50-70 posts.
Now add a link in you profile. Your posts will index your profile.

Now,

how to find those forums in which you are allowed to put anchor text in your account(profile)?

As I see -Angela backlinks and similar services are gone (I mean PDF's with instructions), what you suggest?

Maybe there are some footprints to find fresh forums?

The time it takes to do that is not worth the ROI just for 1 very low quality link. If you're going to post on forums like that, might as well do it on related forums mostly for the traffic. You can throw your link in the profile too.

This! If it's only about the backlinks, than it's really not worth the time to do something like that manually. That's what tools like xrumer are for. Don't waste your time creating low quality links manually. You won't see any difference in serps, if you don't create something like 10.000 of those forum links. And I doubt you're going to make 10.000 forum links manually. This would be insane And even 10.000 forum links don't have such a big effect of your rankings.
In my opinion forum links are only worth the time and effort if you're after traffic in niche related forums.

If it's a really easy keyword, maybe yes. But probably not when it comes to a medium or high competitive keyword. Profile backlinks aren't as powerful as they used to be.
Xrumer still is a good tool. It can be used to build massive backlins to your tier 1 and 2 sites.

Not really, manual forum backlinks can bring you a lot of link juice. Especially forum signature backlinks.
As far as I know xrumer profile backlinks are over and have no effect any more.

You missed the point. I didn't said they bring no link juice. But forum links are mostly PR 0 and no-follow links, so it's just not worth the time to spend hours and hours to create such low quality backlinks manually. If you can do it automatically, go for it. But if you really want to do manual link building, than go at least for high PR d0-follow links.

I agree, no-follow, PR 0 link are better made with auto-tools. Making them manually would be insane.
I'm talking about good PR forums, with ******** signatures, but heavy moderation, that's the only ones who actually deserve wasted time.
