Hey Zelth, nice job man.
No experience on content lockers here.
But if you're serious about getting into affiliate/cpa marketing (With your action already it seems you are

) You should go with buying a real domain and hosting. Yes for some niches just testing w/ free blog is good way to go. Money made, then buy real domain. Go w/ namecheap and also google jan 2012 coupon code to save 88 cents per domain. If you're going content lockers on tv shows look here on BHW for offshore hosting.
For other sites/landing pages etc. you can go w/ hostgator and it's 9.95/mo multi domains and their customer care is the best. I also just signed up with Hostwinds for another site (owner is active here and you can get 1st month business account for 5 cents) search here hostwinds discount etc. I haven't set site up yet but BHW is hosted with them so I'd say they're good as well.
As for getting into cpa companies set up real website/blog. Business doesn't need to be filled out. EMD is good and still holds rank for SEO but non EMD's are ranking more now, it's more on quality content and still backlinks. If you're looking to pound YT to start though you can go for non EMD name as some EMD's can be awkward or longish especially if you have to add site or blog etc. to 3 KW domain. I believe MVB can watermark vids too so an easier to type name is best here because some people will type in website besides just clicking link.
Back to CPA companies, sign up to CLickbank first and find product in niche you're promoting. I say this because most CLickbank products have affiliate tools such as articles you can re-write and put on your site. Make a few posts/pages on site (re-written) and some banners and few links. Don't worry about SEO off the bat since you're focusing on YT. Then you can go to offervault and search niche KW. Find CPA sites in that niche, fill out form w/ website to show them. Also contact email should be
[email protected]. On website you can have contact or
[email protected] but just make another w/ your name for cpa applications and forward it to an email address you check regularly.
Then best practice is to call them after you submit application. Don't let fear of being new get in the way. Everyone has to start somewhere and mainly they want to contact you to make sure you're not a scammer or fraudster. As for methods, tell them you're using Youtube to landing page and in process of learning SEO. Also you plan on trying out media buys (Buying banner ads on other sites) when you earn some capitol. Honestly youtube traffic sucks for clickbank even with a landing page, but you can still get some converts. It works well w/ some cpa though so don't discount YT traffic.
Hope this helps and best of luck on your journey!
