Xmas day split up with gf.

Work 20 hours per day and reach that $1k per day goal, then buy yourself a Maserati and take her for a ride "like a boss!" :)

I really doubt that is the situation in the majority of the cases, and not in the OP's case. Its not the IM part that they have the problem with. Its the attitude about getting a normal job until they can make enough in IM where they don't need to work a normal job anymore. So many people think that working for someone or a company makes you a slave. But you are free to quit at any time.

Sorry to hear that mate... Don't stress about the situation and move on. Just find someone who understands you and the things you are doing.

This is the best advice I've seen on this thread so far! I'm female....and would not recommend doing that whole "rub it in her face" thing. That's really immature. Focus on your business, OP. It's what a lot of people do when they have trouble in relationships or what they do to cope when they've broken up with someone. Throw yourself into work. Take care of your body. Become the person that you've always known you could be, and don't focus so much on love right now. I know it hurts. It sucks big time....but the best kind of relationships come when you least expect them (usually when you're distracted by work or by your own life goals). Don't worry about love. The one you're meant to be with will come when the time is right- no matter where you are or what you're doing. She'll be there. Until that happens, focus on bettering your life, your mind, your heart, and your body. :)

the worst is when they tell you they found someone else to make them happy... but you are still the one she wants to be with later down the road.... thats what i was told this christmas and ive never felt so hurt.. 4 years just flushed down the toilet.. fml

Yeah, wanted to give some input regarding the job.

I am working for "the man" or more precisely for "the woman" for a year now.

My job is a very specific service in the finance field. This is my first legit 9-6 job and you know...it helped me a lot. Now, when I'm starting to cooperate with others regarding establishing own business and building up the income all of the skills I learned at that job have drastically helped me and made me a more valuable person. I've learned a lot in this private business that will help me through my entire life.

The key to working the slave job is not choosing a repetitive job, but something which will give you unique industry knowledge that you will be able to later apply to your own business.

As soon as I get the specific income amount per month, I'm quitting the job, saying big thanks to my boss and colleagues for the valuable knowledge and experience provided and am off to become my own CEO.

Firstly, I would sincerely like to thank you from the bottom of my heart. You took time to write something which I really connected to and you have inspired me to do some things offline to make some money and build myself an reputation. You are completely right I do need to make myself better in every way I can. Physically, money-wise and my mind needs time to get over it and I will wait however long it takes to find the girl who is right. This is the 1st of January here and my immediate goals are all very reachable.

Again, thank you I have given you rep I don't normally bother with that stuff but because you took the time to give me strength to really completely change myself and my attitude. I believe in karma (karma has everyone's address and a stamp) and I really do hope that this year brings the best for you. I honestly mean that I hope something awesome in whatever way you want or even something unexpected happens that brings you enrichment.

Thank you again. You're a great person in my eyes.

Cheers
Rarez:)
