Yes, this is really pissing me off as well. Trying to use Tweet Attacks and can not. My Tweet Attacks was in the middle of a following unfollowing task and just quit because it was unable to verify the license. I thought that once a Tweetattacks copy was running, it wouldn't matter if the server was down. I assumed that Tweetattacks checks the license only when the software is first started. Guess not.

There is a need to protect your Software. I get that. I used to develop Software myself and had a high level of protection. My Software would also check the license with my server to make sure that it is valid. But I also realized that there is a fine line between protecting my Software and pissing off my customers that have legitimately purchased it.

Here is what I did and what Tweet Attacks should do with their Software.

Is there a need to shut the Software down if it can not connect to the server to check the license?? Tweetattacks should remember when the last time that the license was checked. If more than 2 days has passed since the last time that the license was successfully verified, then shut the Software down like it currently does if it can not connect to the server. The Software should continue to run if it can not connect to the server to verify the license if less than 2 days have passed since the last successful license verification.

I have made this suggestion a couple of times before when the Tweetattacks server was down and many legitimate paying customers were getting pissed off.

This Software is under priced in my opinion. A one time purchase of $127. This Software is constantly updated. $127 is a steal. I could buy 2 copies of Tweetattacks per day with the profits that I make from it.

Except today. Maybe enough to buy only 1 copy because their server is currently down and I can't run my Tweetattacks copies!!!

You can do max threads = total number of unique proxies
If you are using manual captcha solving, dont use multiple threads since that way you cannot benefit on the speed that multiple threads can give you.

hey erroronline, i think OP has a point, because when you use only one thread it's very slow, you have to wait say 20 seconds until TAAC gives you the next captcha, it would really be better if captchas were in some pipeline and not poping up, so you could continuously fill them.

Yeah it went down today. Im not sure what is happening with 1and1 again this time. My experience with them is getting worse. Maybe I really need to move to a different hosting provider now.

Well when is it going up again? It's not just down today, it has been and it still is. And what Mike said above about the license is a VERY good advice that I believe you should look at. If TA is checking for the license every couple days or so you can afford a downtime like this and not getting customers pissed.

Server has been offline for 4 hours now. That's unacceptable when using software that requires a handshake to authenticate.

Adding insult to injury, when TA's server is down, so is TA support desk. I'm a big fan of Jayson's products and support, but this has been a recurring problem that needs resolution. I would respectfully suggest that there be a separate, dedicated server for communication with Tweet Attacks' support staff.

We are really sorry about this. Right now, we are workin on it with 1and1 and trying to solve the issue the fastest possible we can. And also, we already developed a plan to prevent this in the future. We will implement it as soon as it went back online.

Plus my proxy list suck a lot, most wont work and using multiple threads avoid more waiting time.

Wow, still not working. My commissions are down today from what I usually get because of the server downtime.

Erroronline, if you want a reliable host, then I highly recommend Liquid Web. I've been using them for 10 years now. They are not the cheapest out there. But I don't go for cheap hosts that lack in the Support department. Liquid Web's support has always been phenomenal! The single biggest reason why I have been their customer for 10 years now. If Liquid Web was your hosting provider, then this issue would have been taken care of right after the problem started. But Liquid Web is in the USA. Because of the nature of this Software, not sure if a USA based web host would matter or not.

let your accounts age atleast a week or two, dont use brand new accounts for sending replies
