Photoshop Like Design Software

Anyone know of a good alternative to Photoshop, that's not GIMP? I'm looking for something similar, and it would be even better if it were on the cloud.

You dont like photoshop? If I had an advice for you, if you don't like it because it is too complicated, take the time to stick to it and understand it. You will realise how Photoshop is by far the best program for web design.

he said that's not gimp. Ick! Honestly gimp sucks balls! Paint shop pro, is even better and yuck to that too! I use both PS and Paint shop Pro and would recommend it only if you totally HATE photoshop...

Illustrator is best.

Illustrator works in vectors and not pixels. It entirely depends on what you're doing.

Print work = Illustrator.

Web/photo clean ups = photoshop

I use pixlr (online) and Laughingbird Logo Creator. LG is amazingly flexible and does a lot more than generate logos
