I'd be lying if I were to say I'm not feeling a bit discouraged right now. I just got off the phone with my brother, and he put things into perspective for me. Currently, my job ran out of work (as of October), and I've been relatively fine, but the longer I go without a paycheck, the harder it gets, thus, the more I've consumed my days with IM, hoping for success. As of now, I have (if I barely spend any more money) just enough to afford January's rent payment at my apartment. Meaning, I have up until the end of January... This year, my first day of work wasn't until Feb. 17th, but we didn't end our work year until a couple days before Christmas. Stopping work 2 months early and without notice was unexpected, and is surely not a comforting thought. Maybe this kind of pressure is that swift kick in the ass that I needed to actually allow myself to begin taking action with IM work. Perhaps I otherwise wouldn't have stepped up and started working at it. But the amount of time I have -- is it enough? I honestly don't know. My gut tells me it is, but reality is telling me I'm living in a fantasy, because I followed the system, and none of my 3 sites are even on the first or second page of Google yet, and that's when using quotation marks. Here I am, about to begin working on the 4th site, when I don't even know how the first 3 will be.
To my readers: I apologize if I don't seem like the "ever-cheerful" me, spouting out positivity everywhere. This is just a hardship I'm facing right now, which may have a substantial impact on my near-future. I'm sure at times, we all feel lost.. Consider this to be my "fork in the road".
