Youtube + adsense = quick $$$?

Wooooo, created a youtube account, did 2 solid days of finding homemade videos and uploaded them, sat back for a while and got a message to monetize my videos, just signed up for google adwords.

Do I have to create an ad to go on my videos? Or will they randomally choose one?

I'm only going to promote on videos I think wont get took down or give me copyright issues in the future, I was thinking, now that I have monetization on my channel on videos I choose could I delete everything that I uploaded and legitimately upload my own material?

I didn't read this whole thread but just a quick warning about ripping other peoples videos on youtube...

I have several videos on youtube, I had one go viral and someone ripped it and watermarked and reuploaded it as their own. I noticed he had done this with other peoples videos. Anyways I reported him and the video was removed within a few days and I believe eventually his entire account was banned. I assumed he had his videos monetized, I don't know if his adsense account was banned as well. Just a heads up...

if you do this thing, make sure you are the first person to upload the content to youtube and I would avoid liveleak watermarks etc...I would also try to keep most of the content somewhat related.

Huh..you are trying to say that news organisation would get sued..many countries news organisations have a mutual share(to a degree) of each others footage..once it is run on one network..

If we have to be editing the videos to make them different than the originals whether it be slowing them down or speeding them up, it isnt as simple as just ripping a video and then re-uploading it. Then on top of it all we have to make sure it hasnt been uploaded already by someone else on youtube. Sounds like a needle in a haystack but Im giving it a shot to see what happens. I'm gonna wait before connecting my adsense and monetization first thought to see how many hits these random home videos can produce.

And that's why idiots like you will never earn from Youtube. You don't just upload someone elses content, you make it your own. Use your brain a bit and your adsense account will be fine.

So are you saying we should rip from other Youtube videos or from Liveleak and other sites? Then do some basic editing by making the run time a little different and throw on some different titles and description? Then are we good to go? I just want to know how much we should change the videos. I recently had my partnership and adsense shut down on YT when I was 100% creating original legit content. So now I have a new adsense on a new channel that I could care less about. Obviously doing things the right way did nothing for me so Im open to trying new things. But I will hold off on connecting and monetizing through adsense until I see the hits on the videos go up. So far I have 7 videos with a few hundred hits.

If you content was yours then prove it to them.. 100% yours then you should be able to get your account back easily.

No it was because of "invalid click activity" .... I never clicked on my own ads but I heard some other partners had this happen because they were click bombed by trolls. Ugh. Not fun.

Your Doing amazing mate. Im still at around 13k Views with 61 Videos of Sexy Girls. Been thinking about changing my topic but not sure what to.

So let's have a brainstorm. How can we produce hundreds of videos, original too?

I am thinking of covers. There are some accounts out there where people do music covers. It's fun and easy to make. I actually have a cover out there that is terrible but still has half a million views!

I've noticed on all these covers that, even though the artist is recognised by Youtube with a link on the lower right hand corner, they are still monetized with Adsense!

I guess they are just left alone.

It's very doable and it's quick and easy. It's social, people comment so it doesn't look like spam videos like those shitty article videos.

OK any other ideas?
