Tell me why I should continue with MNS

There are a number of variables, which could impacting that horrible CTR. What type of traffic is it? Search engine? Paid traffic? Bots? Countries other than the USA? I once had a site that posted high page views from real traffic that had a CTR below 1%.:wt:


When I checked to see where the traffic was actually coming from, it turned out to be from zippin RUSSIA. These kids/dudes were visiting the site checking out the pics of the hot Brazilian, Colombian and American Victoria Secrets girls BUT they were not buying any of the expensive watches, cologne, jewelry or dating tips I was selling. I doubt that I could have offered vodka on that site, LOL.

The point being? check and confirm your traffic sources

After that, [if the traffic is solid but not converting] you may need to find another form of monetization as opposed to Google Adsense.

Just noticed this is a health niche (missed that in the original post). What a coincidence that my site that I mentioned above is also in the health niche.

And I have another site in the health niche, TONS of traffic (and I targeted it because it has like a $14 CPC), and I haven't received a single click yet. Damn it haha

No, vast majority are US, then a big drop off to UK and Canada. Those three are the biggest traffic geos.

And as for the monetization, I've tried cpa from various sources and honestly it just sucks. I really think it's just the niche. This is new for me but I'd think geez, #1 for my EMD and all those other first page serps and it still sucks. I'm going to start researching some other niches and go from there.

MNS should be built on the high CTR of adsense keywords first and foremost, not highest paying, not EMD. The priority sequence should be 1) high CTR, 2) high Adsense ad competition, 3) good EM search volume, 4) high CPC, and 5) low SEO competition. The current rage for EMD is unbalanced and largely neglectful of CTR and adsense ad competition. One example of how the keywords stack up based on this approach:

So far CTR for my 2 sites is still hovering around 0-0.02%

I'll leave it for another week and see.

I have found this same thing with many MNS that I have built.
The traffic is there, but earning pennies in Adsense.

I personally wouldn't put any more money into it, just experiment with more monetization methods/ad placements.

Have you tried two ad blocks next to each other after the first paragraph?
I have gotten CTR of up to 15% using that with 250X250 ad blocks.

I also think depending on the keywords and niche you could have a niche that doensnt clic too much (example videogame niche).

I am out of the MNS sites to make some authority ones.

I agree with others who say to play around with the monetization and layout. I had a site that had ~1% CTR that now has a ~13% CTR since I switched to this layout. It's a tad aggressive but I haven't had a problem with it.

The sites im struggling with are mini niche sites, about 30-60 pages at the moment, my micro niche ones were doing great, until panda wiped them out

I seem to have the best luck with amazon review sites, which is strange because those were the same sites that made no money for me before panda and now their making me 100+/day

I am out of the MNS sites to make some authority ones.
