While ending up on a spam list is always a possibility when posting to websites in an automated fashion it isn't that common. It is possible that the database had a lock when it was running which can result in multiple posts to the same blogs even with unique domains checked that is why an update or two back I added a check to ensure there is sufficient access to the database before proceeding.

If you are posting money sites directly and they are in the same niche it is always good practice to give them very different keywords so there is little cross over between the domains. Custom comments are also a great way to prevent being flagged as a spammer as they can be made more legible and relevant to the topic.

As you said though the only real guaranteed way to stay off these lists is to not post the money site directly but I will carry on posting a mix of tier webpages and main sites as it works for me.

Keeping the app updated is a good way to ensure there are less potential for unexpected functionality, it should be easier now as I have added a periodic check for updates so whenever one is released it will be visible from within the app (installed version only right now).

I just checked my servers IP that posted 2000 confirmed links to a profile without proxies.. i checked servers ip in spamhaus it not blacklisted..

I have a somewhat very important issue. It really sucks. I run no hands seo on my vps. It works great for about 3 days (guessing before the database file becomes too big or something) and then my vps restarts (crashes) and when I want to start no hands seo again it does nothing. I have to get the empty database file and input all websites again which is a pain (I have like 30). Any suggestions?

Sounds like the VPS might not be up to the job, if you have a small HDD limit or small amount of memory you are pretty much throttling what it is going to be capable of doing. Another possible reason is if there is an error with some part of the VPS. What sort of specs is it running?

To be honest I have posted 400k+ comments and trackbacks and never had an IP or domain listed. Obviously anything is possible but it is definitely not likely that you would end up on a spam list of this kind.

I have just bought and downloaded the software. Installed it. But when "double-clicking" on the icon to get it to run it only loads up the "picture" "No Hands SEO 100% Fully Automated SEO" and nothing more happens for a while.

After a while a notice from the "Windows accepter" comes up stating that the program eats to much re-sources that I should contact the creator of the program to fix the problem.

I run the software on a computer with the followin specs:
1.6 GHZ
2 GB RAM

EDIT: It is COMODO who states that the program eats to much re-sources with the following message (translated to english)
No Hands SEO.exe tried to execute shell code as a result of a possible buffer overdrive attack.

One question, doesn't really catch up on the video which alternative of "website" or "page" I should have if I want to use it on for example a squidoo article I have written?

While 1.6GHz is very low for running NHSEO it should not result in high CPU usage on loading a relatively empty database, less than a second over the login time (which should be virtually nil on the trial). It is possible that comodo is doing a lot of checks on what NHSEO is doing and this is causing the higher than usual CPU usage on startup.

You do not need to worry about a virus from NHSEO, I have no intention to ever bundle any kind of virus to an app I am selling.

One question, doesn't really catch up on the video which alternative of "website" or "page" I should have if I want to use it on for example a squidoo article I have written?

If you are promoting a single page then the Page option should be checked so you do not crawl the rest of the website and promote the whole website. Chose Website when you want NHSEO to crawl inner pages and post your domain to whois websites.

Hi, where is the database located for the profiles? I want to move the installation to a new machine but cant see it?

Cheers

In the trial and installed version it is stored in the "My Documents\No Hands SEO" folder. In the portable version it is in the working folder. If you copy the DATABASE.db3 file from one computer and put it in the same, relative, location it will copy all profiles and settings across to your new computer.

Can i blacklist specific TLDs in NHSEO? Example: I do not want to post on *.at-, *.de- and *.ch-Domains.
Is there an easy way to do this?
Cheers

This doesn't make sense. You are not using locking properly. Locking will block all other threads from accessing that same lock key. So, if you are doing it properly, inside your lock statement you will a) check if the record for that website exists, and then if it does not, b) post. If you used locking in that fashion, you would never have database conflicts or duplicate posts.

Yes quite easily. All you need to do is go to the settings tab and then to the "Add and Block Lists". In the "Domain Block List" just add the domains that you do not want to target. So for the three domains you mentioned you could enter the text below
.de/
.at/
.ch/

I put the slash in as otherwise it would not just block the domain it would block the domains AND any domain that started with .ch. For example www.chimps.com would be ignored as it has the .ch if you just entered .ch but if you add in .ch/ then it will only block URLs such as www.domain.ch/blog/some-post

I know that was kind of waffly but I hope it shows you how to use the domain block list to do what you are wanting.

Decisions, decisions, decisions

Ok so I've been reading some of the threads about this and SJ. I already have SB and I was looking for something that I could drip feed. No idea why they didn't put that into SB but you're definitely filling a niche with this.

When I read a post of yours about there being a free trial offer it basically made my choice that much easier. I just downloaded the free trial and I'm giving it a run. If I'm happy with the results you'll have a new customer.

If I don't use proxies, will my IP be banned by Google when nohandseo is scraping?

So do I basically need public proxies?

I dont find this as a worthy...automation is not good..google is not a fool!!! you cant always fool google!!

K..have a few questions, they maybe in this giant thread but...

Mostly how to best use questions.

I do 60 page sites on average, every single page is targeting a keyword, so to set this up to be useful to every page i have to create a page profile per page correct? (if so would be killer if it garbed the page titles when it scanned the site and could run with those) dead easy if could be added.

as i understand it now, you put in the url of the home page, then few keywords..the end, I usually am shooting for 20 page ones per site.

Can I set this to just do a set number of links per page per day?

I really want to leave it running on vps, but don't want 1000k posts per day..just not my style.

if I have 50 sites with 60 pages each...thats 3k pages, added manually per page is an ugly idea, needs to grab page title and keywords really.

That being said, if it could do this, can it use one set of proxies added one time or needs to be per profile?

You get where i am going here..just need it to run in production mode and the faq is not really geared toward this...

Got to say, the product looks awesome, downloaded the demo and think its frigging great:)

Nope, proxies are only needed for when you are limiting by PR. They also are handy for hiding your identity online but aren't needed.

You are on the wrong forum buddy.

You can edit the anchor text on a per page basis in the profile handler. I had though about using the title of the pages as anchor text but as titles tend to be quite long it would severely impact the approval rate, as some users have found when using long anchor texts.

At the moment there is no way to limit number of confirmed links per day but you can lower the number of threads which will slow overall posting and have the same result. 5 or less threads per profile should limit the confirmed links quite a bit.

Proxies are used across the tool rather than per profile. You can add a list of pages to a profile in the profile handler pages tab or you can let NHSEO do all of the crawling for you.

I hope that clears things up a bit, if you got any more questions I'm always happy to answer them.
