Software I use is Bookmarking Demon mostly. I have ZennoPoster, Scrapebox and Scrapeboard but I rarely ever use them except for when backlinking my backlinks (described in the ClusterF**k method).

Do links built using BMD pass a lot of link juice? I own BMD myself, and I stopped using it since I found out the links to be worthless.

I find a niche, buy vbulletin and a domain, set it up, create fake users (for posting) and then hire people to post content. $0.10 a post isn't bad

But heck, it;s really not an easy thing to do, at least for me.
I do reinvest some each month but not on that kind of %

If I can force myself to keep reinvesting 25% each month....
(I can live well with 50% of my income, so basically I can reinvest 25% and save 25%)

Seriously, how do you guys can train your mentallity into such level?

Actually, I invest more than 100%. I probably invest about 120% using money from my other income sources (day job mainly).

If your websites are your only income, I could see how you wouldn't want to (or even be afraid to) invest 100% back in. How would you live?

I'm fortunate enough to have a great day job that allows me to pay all the bills for me and my family. This money that I earn from the websites is unneeded at this point and my end goal is passive income so I want to reinvest as much as I can. At some point I'll stop investing anything except what is an absolute must. I'd like to reach $10,000 per month but now that I am close to that goal, it doesn't seem as much. The human greed is kicking in for me. :|

Where do you get your content? Is so tough to get writers that are consistent and have actual shit to say and not just fillers... and have no grammatical errors.

I've trolled forums for years collecting people to do work for me. I have several people that write for me and have for a long time. You just have to find the people and weed out the bad ones. Get use to firing people because it will happen.

So check forums (post the [WTB] forum poster/blog poster type threads). Evaluate them, fire them, etc. You can also try places that sell content.

No. Not at all IMO but they do two things:

1) Bring Traffic (although small amounts)
2) Help you get a page indexed and seen

Of course BMD your own pages but also BMD all your links. This is a quick way to get your inbound links indexed and seen by Google. This will increase your link juice.

Yeah, I hear you. I can't tell you how many times I've lost money. This is why they (they being those financial investment type people that write the books I've listed out above) say you shouldn't invest anything you can't risk losing. I feel that knowledge is key in advertisement/website investment. You need to know what works (or get an idea) before you dump money into it. This is where a lot of research and experience come into play.

I remember my first website. I was scared shitless and would only put like $30 in it a month. haha. I had it for 5 years and it grew into a mammoth. I sold it for more than $20,000+ doing all the work myself those entire 5 years. Screw that.

That is too bad. During the downturn of the economy, I began thinking about what if I lost my job a lot. I began reading a lot of money management, investment and get out of debt books. I paid off all debts except my mortgage and now if I lost my job, it wouldn't sting so bad. I recommend this for everyone in case you do lose your job.

At first you have to put a lot of effort into it just like anything that you turn passive. In the end, after it is large and if you can find or pay a good admin (and mods), you don't even need to worry with the admin side much.

I'd also go as far and say that anything so-called "passive" income requires some attention from time to time thus making it not "passive". Even mutal funds and certainly all types of websites. However, passive is as you define it. To me, the income is passive because I enjoy getting on the site and posting with my fellow community members, something I'd do even without payment.
