20 days old domains already PR4... how is that possible?

Talking from personal experience, for one of my sites I got PR4 just over a month. Here is what happened;
1-registered a domain then did nothing to it for around a year (project was on hold)

What did you say again?

But you said it, you've had backlinks... these domains don't have backlinks or just few from bookmarks, which can't bring high pr.

I think Neo is right, "high PR 301 redirected to them"... probably this is the case.

And No! I won't buy such a domain!

Not all backlinks can be seen by me and you (while researching a competitor's site) using the standard tools. I saw the site with PR7 from the analytics service I'm using i.e. someone came through there.

What did you say again?

I mentioned that point to indicate the domain had "aged" not sure myself what is the definitive number of years/months to claim domain has aged.

Cheers,
ytterium

Todor if you are really curious try checking for the backlinks with majesticseo, if it does not give you any backlinks, it is sure a redirection imo.

I cant believe, if it turns out its true and u r buying, its a jackpot

Depends on how many backlinks you can see in siteexplorer

post one of the domains here, maybe you're not seeing something that other people will

Hi, he sent me 4 of the domains to check out. They are currently parked. None have backlinks in Majestic/YSE/etc even though they were all originally registered in 2006-07.

In the last update at archive.org three of them were 302 redirected to other domains.

I would concur with others who have stated they probably had other sites redirected there during the last PR update in late August.

1)search for one pr5 website or more...
2)get one domain similar to that website,
3)extract that website with any extractor and upload to your hosting ,
4)wait for google update and then check your PR
5)but it is not original PR,it is fake PR

i have seen same kind of discussion in another forum some time back , there is a trick people are using to get the domains high PR , i have consulted the owner of the domains and asked him abt this , i offered him money as well , but he is not willing to share the trick

the thing which amazes me is that ,The PR is fake but none of the services are able to check it as fake including scarpebox and google

i will look for the domain name again as its a 2-3 months old discussion , i will share them here if i found them and let all the experts have a look on them

I posted a link few posts above, have a look!

I read this technique before, there was a thread here on BHW and many people tried it... in the end it turned out it didn't work out anymore.
