Hi, I just installed and I get the error:
http://i.imgur.com/Zrekl.jpg
I am a munter...resent my license request...hadn't loaded into compat xp mode before running it the first time in win 7.
This happens because you didn't set it to compatibility mode for win xp and ticked run as admin before sending your license request.
Don't uninstall or send another license request.
What you have to do is cut the license file from your forum bot dir and paste it somewhere else. Set forum bot to be run in winxp (sp3) and tick run as admin. Run it and go through the activation steps one more time.
After you have done this please paste the license file back into the forum bot dir and it should run fine

Starting to get the hang of finding forums that I can sign up on and so I now see why this little tool is going to be so important for my sites.
Are there any new features coming soon?
I would like to see the OCR work with decaptcher so that I don't have to pick one or the other to run. I've used SEnuke in the past and I really liked that, I mean if forum bot can't get the captcha right after it's tried the max amount of times have it default to decaptcher.
Anyway of making it work between 1-10 instances? Give us the ability to choose say 6 instances. I run this on my Asus g50vt-x5 and with 10 instances it's maxing out my system.
And I know you guys are already working on new forums so I'm just curious as to which platforms and when there might be an update.
Still a great product for anyone looking at it, just learn how to scrape forums correctly, that's the biggest hurdle for me anyways.
Wow! This seems so easy but for some reason I was having trouble getting forums that this thing could actually register on. After using your method I gained about 60 high pr (2-6) backlinks from a list of about 500 urls scraped, that's not bad to me.
To answer your questions Mark:
The decaptcher option is already in, just go to settings and choose decaptcher, manual or skip for failed captchas
The option to choose instances will be added with future updates as well as vbulletin and a few other platforms.
As for failed platforms, in order to increase your success rate you will have to scrape for new platforms and test them out, export the successful ones retry the failed ones, reimport new ones and so on. Eventually you will have a huge list of successful forums.
sorry, i am a new buyer, i have configured and try to register with email, and i found almost of them are failed, don't know why. is it because i didn't use proxy? what about others, please let me know. thank you.
As stated above, in order to increase the success rate you will have to add new forums and test them out.
The best tip i can give to you and Mark here is that you will get a better success rate if you scrape by using the "inurl:" type footprints
The biggest problem I had was finding forums, I guess I should say, ones that actually allowed signup without issues.
If you have scrapebox use this:
Scrape the forum (example: MyBB) using scrapebox. Footprint:
"Registration Date:" "Time Spent Online:" intitle:"profile of"
As stated above, the best way to go with this is to use the "inurl:" type footprints
I just ran a small test batch of scraped MyBB forums, scraped using the footprint above. I got 40 successful profiles from 130 urls. So pretty damn good. Scrapeboard which I also own would eat through 1000+ urls and plenty of decaptcha balance to make 40 profiles, not that Scrapeboard is a good reference point, but just saying. This bot is damn good. It is maxing out my CPU using 10 instances...I say instances because I wouldn't call them threads, it opens 10 copies of the exe which are setup in 10 sub folders of the software install location. So sorting that out, and maybe allowing fewer instances would be great.
But in all, this is a no brainer if you don't have xrumer. Great tool for profile links.
thx for your purchase and your nice comments
After sending the info to you by email, how long should we wait before panicking and sending another email? Just wondering since email seems to be such a finicky animal some times.
You mean the license request email,

just don't panic, me and my collegue Mike are in different time zones and only he does the licensing part, usually everyone will recieve the answer in less than 12 hrs
