Anybody using No Hands SEO?

wow thats incredible I will have to start monitoring the alexa rank.

The program freezing issue I am getting seems to be for one profile. This is the only profile created before transitioning to v1.6 and it also has the biggest links built for it. Nearly 3000 confirmed links compared to the others having a couple hundred. Maybe the issue is because the profile is old / too big?

Side note; I have been running each profile individually for a small period of time each day now to keep a cap on things and so links aren't built too quick like the first profile. Plus I have also added some bad word filters and max OBL :)

When you run the check links feature does this update the stats on the profiles panel? For example before running check links the confirmed links count was 300 and after using check links the count goes down 295 or can it go up?

I don't know why you are experiencing a lack of links for one profile, it could be that it has lots of very similar keywords and you have post once per domain checked which could limit potential targets. For instance if your keywords now are very similar to the first lot of keywords it will be finding blogs on similar domains but as you only want one per domain it will skip the target and spend more time searching than posting.

This will likely pass with time.

When you run a Link Check it will update the confirmed links numbers of the profile so it is possible, if a comment has been removed, the links number will drop. However if you keep running the tool you should see nothing but an increase in confirmed links.

Hey Jimbo, I have a question about threads and confirmed links.

I show 373 "confirmed" links in NHS, when I export "All" to scrapebox, I find 206 links. Can you explain the difference, or at least how/when NHS "checks" for the live links?

If I have one project and I set 25 threads, will it be posting comments/trackbacks to 25 locations at one time?

If I have 25 projects and 25 threads, will it use 1 thread per project and post accordingly?

Thanks!

If you have 25 threads, 1 profile you will be performing 25 tasks at one time, this could be crawling your website, searching for keywords, searching for targets, posting (whois, comment or trackback), checking links, pinging.

If you have 25 threads and 25 profiles it will be doing the same 25 tasks concurrently except the list it creates will be longer. It does not split a thread up depending on the profiles, instead it will create a queue and simply work through the queue. When it has finished the job queue it will create a new queue and carry on.

As for checking links, as they are sent they are encoded so they are url safe, I do not know if SB does this to the link before checking, from what I can see it uses a very rudimentary check system so that is probably why it does not find them all.

I did not make NHSEO to be compatible or similar or anything to SB or any other tool. You can check the confirmed links manually if you wish to check up on NHSEOs posting and checking abilities. I am sorry but I cannot give any guarantee's to SB or any other tool.

Hi Jimbo,

I've been using NHS for about a month now, but got several problems with it.

1. I use VPN, every time if I start VPN first then launch NHS, the software won't start because it can't recognize the IPs assigned by VPN. If I start NHS first then VPN, this will not happen at all. Is there any way to solve this problem?
2. NHS (v1.6.5) uses more than 90% of my cpu (quadcore ) most of times, and I am only running about 7 threads.
3. In the last 10 days all my posting failed according to the log message. And the confirmed post stayed the same for each thread during that period.

This is really frustrating, NHS running and using all my cpu power but not producing anything. Please help!

Thanks.

No idea about your VPN tbh, if it is not configured correctly and is prevent NHSEO from contacting the login server I cannot do much about it Im afraid. If you have a legitimate route to the internet there is no good reason for NHSEO not logging in, VPN or not (unless the VPN is incredibly slow which I am assuming it isn't).

Im not sure why you are only running 7 threads :) But that isn't the issue. Some people seem to be struggling with high CPU usage, I have an update coming very soon that wll allow the user to set a CPU throttle amount to prevent it running too high.

You have 10 days worth of fails? It sounds like you are having VPN issues tbh. This could explain (partially) your high CPU usage, if every internet request is failing it will be returned instantly and the threads will have very little down time meaning they are all running constantly.

Im sure this issue will be sorted in the next update but it sounds like there is some deeper problem here, possibly with the VPN.

Hi Jimbo,

Thanks for reply. I don't think the problems I have are related to VPN, because I tried both with and without VPN the results are the same. Without using VPN the cpu usage still >90%, everything still fail and confirmed posts stay the same. Can you think other things may cause this?

CPU usage is being dealt with. There is no good reason with the tool for it to fail posting on everything.

If you could PM me teamviewer login for your computer I can look into it or alternatively if you could .zip or .rar your DATABASE.db3 file, upload it to mediafire.com (or some web host) and PM me the details for that I will be able to look into it deeper.

it's not working now. Version 1.6.5

How do you mean not working? I cannot help without more information. There are no bugs other than the one that causes high CPU usage, though even this isnt a bug as much as it is the tool doing lots of work.

JimBob,

I started using NHS about 2 - 3 weeks ago. It seems like an amazing tool..and I am admittedly a noob with how all this works.

I only ran about 3 sessions. About 12 hours each. I gained a few backlinks about a week later. but I have not noticed a significant difference in traffic on my site...neither have I noticed a significant increase in the keywords for which I am trying to rank.

But I see all these other folks having good results. I want to make sure I am doing everything right. I edited my Comments file to be more appropriate for my site. And I am going to try it out again.
I got too busy to finish the trial the first time...so I downloaded it again...to really give it another go.

I had a specific question about threads. How can I tell how many threads it is running? I can see the max amount of threads allowed...but how can I tell the amount of threads running while it's posting?

Also can I run this thing 24 hours a day? My website is about 8 months old. Are there any risks to being labeled a spammer? Obviously the comments can not all be totally relevant to my own website...so this concerns me. Should I relax about this? I am constantly trashing the same kind of comments that come to my own blog from (presumably) this same tool...as I recognized the comment options...

Thanks for your time and hard work.

I dont think that such automatic link building softwares are good for SEO purpose.. They can make your site to be penalized..

The main reason I expect you saw little to no results is through lack of use tbh. The people seeing the most benefit are letting the tool run for long amounts of time and letting it run often. 3 sessions is like doing a few small scrapebox blasts, that will not result in any real tangible results. It will need to be run, ideally, every day for at least a couple of weeks to see some good results.

You should not change the comments.txt file as it gets updated everytime you update the app, you should use the included custom comments controls in the "Advanced" Add/Edit options or the "Profile Handler" tab, make sure it is able to be spun into at the very least hundreds of different comments to get the most benefit.

If you are running the most recent trial you are running 15 threads. Max threads is how many threads it will run.

No. I don't mean to offend but if you believe this you are probably on the wrong forum. This has been mentioned many times over, in this thread and many others, and it is completely false.

Google, and other SEs, know that a webmaster is not in control of their incoming links so can not penalise you for your incoming links, otherwise anyone could penalise any website they wanted.

Very true! The majority of linkbuilding techniques discussed in this forum are via an automatic tool of some sort, NHSEO, LWB, SEnuke X, Venom etc.. etc...

Jimbob,

Thanks for the speedy reply. I am giving the whole thing another go. Been running now for 16 hours.

This time I am running seven pages instead of one URL.
So far I have:
  • 4954 Comments Posted.
  • 3614 Trackbacks posted.
  • 68 Confirmed links.

I guess I will change back to the original comments file as well.
I will report back usage after 7 days of constant function.

Here is my synopsis of what I expect...please let me know if it seems right.

1. Several thousands of comments, trackbacks, and whois posts will be made by No Hands SEO.
2. A small percentage of those comments, trackbacks, and whois posts will be automatically approved immediately.
3. A small percentage of crazy or clueless people will approve some of those No Hands SEO random spammy comments with anchor text linkbacks. (as I have in the past).
4. Over a longer period of time...weeks to months Google, Yahoo, and Bing, will find and index the comments, trackbacks, and whois posts and crawl them to my website.
5. All search engines that crawl my linkbacks to my site will choose whether or not to count or display my backlinks according to their mysterious Search Engine Algorithms (including but not limited to:
  • PR Rank
  • Valid Subject Matter in the linkback anchor text
  • Valid content and OnPage SEO on my site page that is linked to that Anchor Text.

6. Various link counting tools like majesticSEO, and google webmaster, etc..will show an increase in backlinks.
7. My search engine placement will increase for the desired keywords used in the anchor text for the page URL's I submitted with No Hands SEO.

The end result is brute force by numbers of backlinks...and therefore an incessant tirade of never-ending backlink submissions is ideal for a continuous building of the limited percentage of backlinks that will actually make it through the whole system.

Did I miss anything? Please fill in the gaps...or if you have better ideas to improve on this process...do TELL!

Lastly...does anyone have something to say about all of this madness we call No Hands SEO (Props to the OP for this amazing tool) compared to focusing on acquisition of fewer HIGH PR PAGE backlinks?

Is one better than the other? Why or why not?

And I suppose that both strategies would be ideal for even MORE Search Engine Ranking Exposure. Random links and Intentional High PR Links together.

Thanks for your comments.

Peace Out.

I would just say that this tool - much as I like it for "lazy linking" that is sufficiently different from say Scrapebox for the links it produces - is an absolute hog of your bandwidth.

I use 70 odd private proxies and pay a premium if I go over 30gig a month - THis baby uses a gig every 2 hours approximately, so I need to top up my bandwidth quite often.

It's not expensive - but I need to factor in an extra $25 a month to keep my proxies going (on top of the normal monthly cost)

\And no - I won't use free or scraped proxies, they make a good tool seem like a crap one. I go from 80% success post in SB (after fast and slow submission) on a checked list down to about 25% success on the same list - and it takes 4x as long.

To mis-quote Glengarry Glen Ross

Always Be Linking!

I think the problem with No Hands SEO is that they load up the full site (including pictures) instead of just downloading the html files like they should and that wastes a lot of bandwidth (and speed if you are on a slow connection)

NOhands seo downloads only the html and does not load the images from the website it is placing a link on. If it did it would be nowhere near as fast.

For jimbobo2779, I know it uses threads but they are all taking place on one core. Are you working on making it use more than 1 core to spread the load? I have already tried setting the affinity to more than one core but it makes no difference.

I came across this as well. Anyone have bad experiences with getting blacklisted on search engines?

In short no. So far I have not heard of a single user claiming this, though I'm sure someone will claim it could/will do that it is highly unlikely. Search engine penalties are normally the work of crappy content or cloaking rather than the backlinks.

Search engines will not penalise people for backlinks, if that were the case I could get anyone penalised.

1, 2, 3) Yes
4) Normally will be much quicker than months but yes
5, 6) Yes
7) So long as you are not in a VERY competitive niche yes this is likely

As for which is best lots of low quality links or few high quality I would say both, some would say one and others would say the other, personally I say get both if you can.

Some users have mentioned PR5s from NHSEO though so there are definitely some high PR links to be had the easy way.

I think the problem with No Hands SEO is that they load up the full site (including pictures) instead of just downloading the html files like they should and that wastes a lot of bandwidth (and speed if you are on a slow connection)

Definitely does not load any images, videos, documents or code. It loads purely the html.

NOhands seo downloads only the html and does not load the images from the website it is placing a link on. If it did it would be nowhere near as fast.

Thanks for answering that, you were right about it not loading the images etc.

NHSEO shouldn't just run on a single processor, I test on multiple setups (mostly my i7 desktop, low spec C2D laptop and a dual core pentium latop) and so far I have had work spread across all cores on all machines. It could be related to the overunning of the processor, this will be sorted in the next update.

Sounds like some sort of core throttling? I do like the threading ability, because this bit of kit will take up whatever number of cores you have..which imo is a good thing!

Oh, Jim, didn't mention it to you yet, but I added the tool to http://www.seotooluniverse.com

If you want to add an official listing for it, let me know, add it and i'll take down the filler listing.

Thanks for accepting my registration. As I am new to forum and looking for informative threads.

Thats awesome, thanks man. You know there is an affiliate program through plimus and/or clickbank that you could use to get a commission for any sales generated?

I am interested in your affiliate program Jimbob. How can I sign up?

I ran a few more tests and found it 'looks' like it is running on a single core only after a new profile is initially created and the core is running at 80%. I suspect this is when it is doing its most intense prep. work. After a while Windows 7 distributes the threads across the cores as it should and the cpu usage on my Phenom 955 drops to less than 10% during posting.
