Rankbox SCAM: The THIEF ExtremeSEO

makes you wonder how much more of rankbox is someone else's code and if any part of it original.

personally i wouldn't be using it as other authors could discover there code being used on your site, opening legal issues for the buyers of rankbox.

I believe a full refund is in order due to trust/morality issues of the seller of rankbox being flushed down the toilet

I would highly doubt any buyers would have ANY legal trouble at all, as they purchased it without any knowledge code was stolen. If you go to a swap meet and buy a car stereo and the seller tells you it was from his car and it ends up he stole it, you do not go to jail. The stereo would be taken away by the police, but they do not punish the buyer.

Now, if you had active knowledge the code was stolen, you MIGHT have a very slight chance of trouble - although it is extremely rare to target the buyer in such a transaction. At the same garage sale, if the guy said "Hey, want to buy this stereo, I just stole it from my neighbors car down the street - you can have it for $25.00", then you would have knowledge of a crime and chose to continue with the transaction anyway - this would get you into trouble.

Ummm, yes you would. It's called receiving stolen property. And you go to jail for it. The law says you are responsible for determining the origin of a particular good or service before buying it.
