Man some of you guys are brutal. Things happen. Any time you cross legal boundaries in order to make more money, you will eventually run into consequences. It's always good to have an exit strategy and never get too comfortable. If you've been doing 20k+ profits a month for a while now, I'd have left the country yesterday.

It's upsetting how many of you are taking this for a joke when this man has come to warn others and help them not get in the predicament he is in. Obviously he knows he f#cked up and does not to be told that 50 times. Some of it was humor in good taste, but the joke part should be over by now.

At any rate, He needs to get a lawyer *IF* this story is true. If it is not true, then he needs to stay away from importing because I don't think he can handle the volumes he's claiming.

Managing 45 accounts is not as easy as creating new windows log-ins and changing your ip. Logging in and out of 45 accounts to manage customer service will take all day, it takes at least a min to reset your router after you change your mac address. When I used to do that with 10 accoutns it used to be incredibly annoying, i couldnt image 45.

Wow it sounds pretty serious. I'm guessing it's in both your interests to stay out of court so try to find a settlement that would work for them and avoid court. Especially if you didn't cover your tracks 100%. Also come clean and provide them any info they may require form you - at this point it will only work in your favor if you cooperate. Obviously this is absolutely no joke - because your not some 16 year old kid who read a PDF and followed it - you knew exactly what you were doing.

Also I guess as was said you had 20 accounts - so your well above the normal user of the sites.

I'm sure you need to do everything you can to keep it out of court - and pay whatever is affordable ... because seems the consequences of court are not going to be good.

Lawyer you got - follow the advice and stop posting about it online.

Most, if not all, European countries have extradition agreements with the US so I don't know if that would be the best idea for someone trying to escape a lawsuit.

but the whole point is he was warned never to sell replica from insid ethe U.S.A. someone even said a few weeks ago "avoid jail" and drop ship form abroad and he replied "this thread is about making money not gonig to jail..." He thought he was untouchable.

Funny how many of you bash at the OP but if you were in his shoes, you'd have shitted your pants

I like to hope that the few intelligent people here, who make any sort of money, wouldn't find themselves in this situation.

I personally have done "counterfeit" goods with a lot more success than the measly sum he probably took away from this. The issue is how he used ebay etc for it, how he used already counterfeited products, and how he chose one with a low profit margin and highly profitable parent company.
