I am thinking if you can integrate hover effect or slide show in preview section that will make your website a lil bit more exciting. Just a thought

Yeah, I am working on a professional logo for the website and trying out a few things. The plan is still kind of forming up. I will definitely use your slideshow suggestion as I think animation would enhance the look of the website. I basically want to right short three line reviews and fake comment, and adsense stuff the review page. The tactic is to get angry clicks from people not finding the full review page. I might even put a fake more button that doesn't link to anything to get them clicking around.

Just an update on my progress with my blogger blog. My traffic has been good the last few days as a result of manual blog commenting on other blogs within my niche. I have commented on .gov blogs and others.

Earnings are at $40.00. I think within two months I might receive my first google check and this is motivating me to do more. Unfortunately, I am little sidetracked this week with freelance graphic design projects. I am earning good money doing that and the client flow has been steady with local clients that I find off of craigslist. I found an seo partner and now I just want to find a good developer.

So these earnings that I hope to make with this and other projects will just supplement my design earnings.

I took some of the advice that was given to me in this thread and changed the colors of the blog a little bit to make it less gloomy and easier on the eyes. I am not satisfied with the way the ads are appearing on the blog and I working to correct that. Because of the 3 ads per page adsense rules....I am getting gaps in the content where ads should be. I am still looking for a way to fix this if anyone has any suggestions.

I just hit the $1 per day mark. It feels good because I don't pay for hosting. I do need to do some ad maintenance as I am getting some 50 to 60 cent clicks. I also need to publish some new articles as it has been awhile. So I kind of let the site sit and i ordered a fiverr gig yesterday for social bookmarking.

I am ranked one for a few keywords such as free cell phones for veterans.

I am doing my best to keep this thread updated because I think there are a lot of questions being asked related to blogger vs. wordpress deployment. Based on my results so far, I have to say that blogger was a good choice in this project. I wish I had the plugins that wordpress has but I seem to ranking particularly good for certain search terms. Every month sees a large increase in adsense earnings. Usually almost double the previous month. I know this will plateau soon. I just hope it peaks at a high enough earning.

I wonder if I can take this project and expand it. Maybe I can start fresh with a similiar wordpress website with EMD and use this blog for links. Even if I were to let it sit, I think the earnings would still be good. Then I can upon up another channel to this traffic with a new website.

I search for blogs that have the topic "veterans" or "ptsd" and I manually comment on these blogs. I just bought my first fiverr gig for this blog. I don't want to invest allot of money in it. The gig is for social bookmarks. People are naturally backlinking to my articles in their own blog posts too. I got a good link from the Oprah Winfrey Network. I didn't put it there.
