To get about 4k viewers is very hard if you stream like sport streams. I streamed the apple keynote, there are always people who want to see it live because there is no live stream at all! So people go to sites like ustream and search for a stream, they found mine and see the link.
For sport streams it is harder but your stream get up to 150 viewers just by search on ustream! I like sport streams like nfl MLB because you will get about 90% us traffic.
Long story short: ustream search traffic should be ok but think about other ways to get viewers

hahaha i have done this kind of method in my adsense. usually if there are some big sport events that are happening, 30 mins of "streaming" earned me $800. after the next month when usually the check is coming. my adsense got banned! hahaha thats what i got on playing with google. LOL
