How Much You Earn With Clickbank ?

I would encourage #2.

Thanks for the feedback OTrap, much appreciated. Is there a reason why you encourage number 2? Is it because it is already working that's why I should stick to it? My only concern here is getting slapped by Adcenter. There hasn't been a lot of cases like this with Adcenter unlike Adwords, but just a few is enough to scare the daylights out of me. Once again thanks for the feedback!

A little bit off topic here but is there a thread here that teaches how to be a good clickbank vendor that you guys highly recommend?

Good guys I really want to be where are you.
I am on clickbank about 2 years.
I have a too much spent money on advertising helps and any of internet practices. I tryed one product or more products but for this one or two years I have earned only $0. Please can someone help me or write for me step by step help how can I promote one of the best conversion product? Thank you for all your help.

I think you are the new !! not 2 years... my english sucks and Im working with cb about 7 months but I can earn a lot of money man. if you really want it , then you can succeed it. Believe + Work = Success

This is the first time I see such great response for a question I have seen a million times. Most people who asked this question in other forums have either been shot down or buried alive. Good place to be!

I net in about $1500 monthly at the moment with just one product. Hoping to get more but not sure which step I should take next. Here are my options:

1. Focus on the same product but try to gain more exposure through other viable platforms such as Adbrite, article marketing, and email marketing OR

2. Rinse and repeat. Keep cranking up new products to sell.

What do you pros think? By the way I'm only using adcenter to market at the moment. Got slapped by big G long time ago.

Do both. Why limit yourself with 'options'.

I've seen more people burn out on trying to make one thing work. It's almost ALWAYS easier to just start fresh.

(a) Burnout
(b) If you spend time trying to do two things, you won't do either one as well as you could have done one if you'd limited your scope.

I don't disagree with having both as the eventual goal, though.

Thanks again for the feedback. I think I'm going to listen to you and stick to option 2 and I will keep doing that until I am earning at least 5k/mth. That is when I will try another 1 or 2 more methods to diversify my risk a little.

how do you create or get email list for email marketing?

Best way is to provide freebies such as e-books or valuable information. Building the list is just the first part of it though, after which you will need to manage, write engaging emails or newsletters and know what to promote.

If you are an affiliate you can start off by having a review site and an 'in your face' opt in option whereby they will get freebies (or keep getting freebies) once they are subscribed.

Conversion for subscription should be much higher than sales, provided your freebie is nicely targeted. I don't really do much email marketing myself but I am guessing getting 50% conversion rate should be reasonable since it's free after all.

Another thing to mention is to find the right kind of niche where there will always be new products for you to promote. For instance (I think you all know) online money-making products. You don't want to choose a niche like 'how to keep a rabbit' where there is absolutely nothing for you to promote.

and how much gravity is considered to be high average low, because some products have an gravity of 200+ and some 50-100 and so and a few products have 400+ also

There is no such thing as a best method. If you look around here you will find that different people have achieved outstanding results with different methods. The key is to find one that suits you. Start by having a rough idea of how every method works and then find one that works for you. The goal is always the same: quality traffic.

Majority of the CB products have gravity of less than 100. Anything above 100 means that the product sells, but anything less than that doesn't mean that it isn't a good product. Depending on the method you have chosen you have different range of products to choose from.

For instance if you choose PPC you will have to choose high-paying products to justify the amount you're forking out on advertising. If you choose email marketing you need to choose a niche that provides a range of products to make sure you always have something to sell. If you choose article marketing then you don't have to be too picky.

One important lesson I have learned so far is to always use your common sense instead of following some 'blueprints' blindly. Why did I choose this product? Who and how strong are my competitors? Who are the potential consumers and how do they think? What are the demographics of my consumers? Do they have enough money to purchase the product? The internet marketing industry is an ever-changing market that is full of dynamics, you need to go with the flow.

The first thing you probably should do now is to read more on different style and methods, after which you could narrow down to one or two methods you prefer and keep pushing till you see results.

Hope it helps a little. Anyone with more experience please feel free to correct me if there is anything I said that is wrong. Thanks.

How are we getting paid if someone is getting his refund?! Thanks!
You won't get paid for it, or if you did already then you'll get a charge back to your account for it.

It's just how sales commissions work. Commissions are paid from a percentage of a sale. If the sale has to be refunded then the commission has to be reversed as well. If it happens before the commission is paid then you'll just not be paid for that particular sale, if it happens after the commission is paid then it will be deducted from a future commission payment.

It's the same as if you were a commissioned salesrep for a traditional retail store. If 50 people come into the store and buy some item, and then the next day 5 people come back in to say they didn't like the product and want a refund then the store is really only making money from the 45 people that didn't ask for refunds. If the store is paying you a commission for the sales, they will deduct those refunds from your sales before they pay your commission. If the store pays you're commission, but then later another customer comes in for a refund the store will deduct that refund from you're next commission check.

You wouldn't expect the store to pay a commission for sale they had to refund would you? In fact people that buy things and then get a refund even though they really are using the product should keep that in mind. When you do that it's causing the salesman to get screwed.

edit - to simplify that long explanation:
If 50 sales are made, but 5 are refunded, then you're commission will be for 45 sales.
