My first website : beginners autoblog

Hello

I have also one question, how many autoblogs did you connect to your adsense account? Because I see that in August you had 55,68$, but I don't know from how many sites did you get this income?

Ty :)

Ty :)

the screenshots are just the action from the one first blog as a case study of sorts.

heres another quick end of the month update.
had some problems with my old host, lunarpages, and switched to hostgator. had an upgraded shared account on lunar pages and they said i was using like 40 times the allotted resources! and dont have any tools to see what exactly was using them to troubleshoot.

migrated to hostgator and am now using 0.01% of cpu and ram on average lmao. fuck you lunarpages.

so you can see a bit of a stutter step last month as there was alot of time wasted and some google dancing with the server change...

recently tweaked some of the top pages from google webmaster to be seo targeted to the keywords google was returning them for. h1/2 tags, titles, metatags, etc. seems to have made a nice bump in the last week!

hopefully will be getting a check rom google soon as i have finally passed the payout threshold by a good margin:D

This journal is awesome and inspiring.
You might have answered this before in the thread, but do you spin your content?
If so, how? WP-robots integration with TBS?

Sidenote: first post for me, wohoo!

Keep going man, you seem to be trending in the right direction. Congrats, also keep posting your progressive this is very inspiring.

Do some keyword research and pay attention to the CPC and try to go after the higher paying keywords. You could be making much more on adsense if you strictly go after higher paying keywords....try to go for $3.00 CPC or more. You should get about 1/2 of the CPC and I know that sometimes you don't but at least you can use that as a barometer.

thanks for the support guys. couldnt have done any of this without bhw :D

things are settled out now with hosting etc, so these will mostly be left on auto pilot now, especially on-page. still will be doing off-page linking and things.

my next project is using this more. i never really did keyword research on anything in the past and you can see there is a pretty low cpc!

i have started a manual blog with about a dozen pages now that each are targeted to a specific related keyword phrase that gets over 5000 global monthly exact searches and a cpc of $1-5

---

just finally tipped over the $100 mark in finalized adsense earnings! does that mean i have passed the manual check? or will i not know untill i have the cash in hand?

WomRS

guess ill know for sure either way at the end of the month. at this point i am comfortably past $100/month so i should be cashing out each time in the future

i am still very much learning this part, but, adwords.google.com and google search itself are pretty much always going to be the original source for all this info. ive used software like market samurai and traffic travis to help scrape/process the data. id recommend them both for different things.

Awesome post and updates you have here mate! I really thought that autoblog will not work anymore... but that my doubts are gone after I read your post!

Wow man you are really serious and have patience

Keep it up man, you will make it big I can feel it!

the larger price is the total value of all purchases referred through you. personally, you get 4% - 6% (depending on how many items you sell) of the total. so what actually goes into your pocket is what is listed under 'advertising fees' on that chart.

the numbers for october are:
amazon: $57.76
adsense: $220.16

Interesting, I'm still thinking of a way to set up my own site; and although most of my money comes from article writing there is a high chance I will make an autoblog for my first experience.

Nice method and good to see your starting to earn.

Its nice to see that auto blog is working nicely with some earning. I will try out auto blog also asap.

Thanx for your explanation eternalfrost, Ok now i cant wait to start so i started with an my sample site which i will test for 15 days. I have health related niche keyword has about 8400 Local Searches. i have setup everything as per shezblog method twitter is also working fine started following peoples with tweet attacks. and even started receiving little traffic from twitter i will keep update my status to get different ideas from all of you. will try to post some screenshots too once again thanx eternalfrost for sharing the stuff.

so its been about 6 months since i started this, figured i should throw up an update.

ive pretty much moved on from this method. i still have them running, but dont think i would build any more, at least without some major changes.

the biggest problem is this method is completely untargeted. ive found that some solid on-page seo for a specific keyword is pretty essential if you want to rank for anything worthwhile. this auto-generated content simply cant have that...

you end up ranking on the 10th page for 10 million random keywords, most with low $0.10 type CPC...

it is a shotgun approach that requires a few dozen sites with a few dozen thousand posts to have a chance of pulling anything in. this wouldnt be a huge problem since they run on auto pilot, but the inodes (files) for all these wordpress installs and caches quickly pile up into the hundreds of thousands. shared hosting plans get swamped fast.

tl;dr
it was a good learning experience, and i will just leave it sit in the corner as long as it is still grinding out some profits. but, having since built a few 'legit' sites with real content, i dont think ill be putting any more work into autoblogs.
