Panda 2.5 - Were you affected? Let's figure out why! Questionnaire

these algorithm changes are nothing but to keep the big companies in the first page, there's nothing complex about the algorithm, they are just finding affiliate sites and devalueing those..motherfu..ers

Just filled the survey. Google updated regularly algorithms. Wait & watch for next update. :D

Just a quick update, right now we've only had 30 people submit to the form.

Hoping to get some more data than that, once I see around ~100 or so, or the thread dying out. I'll then post the results in here.

Thanks again everyone! Hopefully we can gain some valuable data from this.

I would definetly do the survey if I got HIT by panda but I didnt, still this research can help out others so they can keep their sites clean

Appreciate that, obviously we are only looking for those people that were negatively affected by the recent algorithm rollout.

I've been reading that people recovered from Panda by rewriting scraped content or adding content to low content pages. They did recovered before the next Panda iteration.

Any ideas? Someone recovered from 28 September 2011 updated? It's possible? I think it is, but we need to find a way to understand it.

Yes it is surprising that not more people are on here. It seems that everyday someone is bitching about the Panda...now where the hell are they?!

Things seem to be getting back on track for my sites, it seems to have been a temporary issue (at least for me), but I am definitely keeping an eye on things.

Hope things get back to normal for everyone else.

Did you do any changes to your website when you lost your rankings?

Even I found soem problem two weeks ago.But the things are getting better and better.I hope I would sort them out sooner

No I didn't make any changes, I have belief in the fact that I am adding value to the users experience in the way I am doing things. I use a modified version of autoblogs mixing both autoblog stuff along with additional functions and informaiton that are custom built. I Make sure that they look good, are functional, and actually have useful information on under-served niches.

From what I have seen in each of the major and minor updates that Big G has been doing, they are looking to improve the quality of their listings, so if you create quality websites they will reward you. Therefore, that is the philosophy I keep using on each of my sites, and although there was a temporary drop, that philosophy seems to still be working.

Just taken, nice idea, cant wait for you to post the results

Thank you and thanks everyone else that's filled this out. I'll be posting the results mid-week as at that point I should have close to ~100 people that have filled it out. The more the merrier so that way we can truly analyze the data.

I have a competitor that dropped from +1 to #50 and worse on several important keywords. Seems he had two sites with overlapping content. The other site never ranked well. Looks like goggle assigned original content to the site with no page rank and then Panda'd the main site.
