Panda 2.5 - Were you affected? Let's figure out why! Questionnaire

Should have a separate survey for people that didn't get affected by panda and one that actually seen an increase. It be a lot easier to see what they did or didn't do to survive panda.

Good recommendation and I may do that if the initial results don't show anything.

As of now we have had:

50 submissions

Ideally we could get to 100, but if we don't mid-week then I'll release the data.

I have a competitor that dropped from +1 to #50 and worse on several important keywords. Seems he had two sites with overlapping content. The other site never ranked well. Looks like goggle assigned original content to the site with no page rank and then Panda'd the main site.

Man that would hurt! Worked out well for you though. :yumyum:

It`s almost mid-week...I can`t wait to see the data... :)

Thanks for the bump, I didn't want to selfishly bump it myself.

Here is where we are now:

52 Submissions

only 2 more in the past 24 hours or so

Not sure we'll hit my goal of 100...

Hey, it`s mid-week, could you please post the results? (:

I can tell you already what Panda 2.5 does / what sites it will affect / what are the greatest sins / what are the general thresholds

This is a must I had a look at the questionaire (I wasn't affected) I can't see how it is possible to get anything conclusive with those questions, you need to be asking things like do you have affiliate obl's then compare to the questionaire to a questionaire for those who haven't been touched by the latest panda update.

Anyway it'll be interesting to see the results, but purely from a speculative point of view.

I think a sites obl's are now more important than inbound. You can link to a high authority site but if you have affil links I'd say google knows what you're playing at and the affil with negate the high authority obl.

Bring it on...just don`t forget to prove it.

I filled in my survey, waiting results to be posted or any clue

NICE! I look for something like this answers to why panda kill one of my sites.

Who thinks about the picture above? what you think about results of submissions?

I add my sites to your form as well. Hope my feedback helps

Anyone have any ideas based on this data?

its not affected me so i cant do the survey and help out with this effort, but im glad to see somebody using a bit of initiative and organising this because theres no doubt that all of us will be affected some day, some way by a future algo update and maybe by then we'll have a better organised, better publicised, better method of pooling information to help us all out.

meanwhile, rep given to op for getting this started

I was affected by the panada 2.5 roll out, but in a positive manner - should there be an option for that in the survey?

I was thinking of creating an alternative questionnaire if this one didn't provide any substantial results. I'll be monitoring this closely and move forward accordingly.

I still think on what we see here, the simple thing is poor quality backlinks and duplicate or poorly spun content seems to be a venomous mix
