Recently Google rolled out a algorithm update that supposedly affected 2% of the SERP results.

Usually we throw around "ideas" as to what the underlying variables could be that caused the drop in rankings for those of us that were negatively affected by the update.

I've created a simple questionnaire in an attempt to figure out WHY.

If you were negatively affected by the Panda 2.5 algorithm update please help us by filling out this questionnaire.

I did it too. I had to guess on bounce rate because I use statcounter and I couldn't find the bounce rate. I put 80%... I hope that doesn't mess anything up.

Eh, one of my competitors dropped from #1st to #5th, I went up from #5th to #4th.

Still climbing though lol.

I really would love to find out what caused this.

Well, considering Cutts recently posted that we should expect to see a rollout over the coming weeks, and people have noticed rank changes across the board... I'd say it's safe to say there were algorithm updates.

This is a great idea. I was affected, so I did the survey. I wasn't doing barley any back link either. I think it was my on-page. Maybe a 5-10% duplicate content on some pages and mostly those pages got hit.

In the last three day's I've been decimated on my earnings... We're talking a 75% to 80% drop... This is a disaster I was just hoping would be a Google dance, we'll see...

Just completed the survery.

I was getting around 300 dollars per day with Adsense, now it's a little over 30 dollars. It sucks really, but we have to find a solution to this, because I don't think I'm the only one.

The only thing I could think about my website were hit by Panda is that my content was scraped by others and it hit me.
