One would not believe the number of people being treated for cancer. Before my father passed in May I used to go with him for his chemo treatments. The cancer center here was always packed with people. I'm guessing somewhere in the neighborhood of 100 patients a day.

Good thing is there ARE success stories coming out of this. More and more people every day are cancer survivors.

My wife is one of them. She managed to beat breast cancer.

oxon my mom had her thyroid removed years ago, as you have said they gave her tablets to take now daily which i guess act as her thyroid, her quality of life has not been effected at all mate

Getting my head round it now mate after the consultation.
Came as a shock she only being 21 she's still my little girl.
When I heard cancer I thought the worst after my mum.
Still upset me to fuck!

I haven't been around for a week or so as I had some really bad news concerning my daughters health.
4 years after watching my mother die from cancer of the esophagus my
daughter has been diagnosed with thyroid cancer.
So I've had my head up my arse for a week or so as it hit me pretty hard.
I've pulled myself together a bit and will now answer all the PMs I've had and pay my bills, don't fret I ain't gone anywhere.
They say thyroid cancer is the best cancer if any but it knocked me for six
for a while. Now I know the implications and she is going under the knife on the 18th I feel I can go on with life a little.
I'm not looking for sympathy, just letting members know why I haven't been replying to message.

I hope she is ok. Please look into chemo and radiation causing cancer and being counter productive before putting her into it. I know it is a "conspiracy theory", but when it is something as serious as this I think you should look into it.

If it's any consolation my buddy's wife had thyroid cancer and they beat it...
My mom was just diagnosed with lung cancer- seems everyone I know knows someone with cancer...

Morgan's a smart girl in her last year at uni. She gets a lump on her throat and decides
to get it checked and goes and has tests. Before her return consultation she receives a letter
with an appointment for an operation, WTF? Trust the NHS to be so case sensitive so all we
know is it's serious it took 5 days to speak with a consultant to find out the results which by that time we know there is only one conclusion.
Now we have had it explained to us in clearer terms it has become more bearable but we didn't need their insensitivity.

Ok members.
The thread was intended to explain why I haven't been responding
or been around for a few days.
It's very seldom I tell people my business.
Thanks for your support and all the members and in fact anyone else who
is affected by this disease has my support.
While we are making this blackhat money take time and think that money
can't buy everything.
Cancer Research has more money then they can spend.
We can throw millions of dollars at them but they can't create cancer miracle workers.
When thinking about donating think about the people who care for cancer sufferers.
They are the hero's.
Don't give me rep it's them that deserve it.
Go on $1 to Macmillan trust or the equivalent in your country could make all
the difference to someone you love one day.
