I have not properly introduced myself on these forums yet, even though I have been around a while, so I thought I would do so now. Here is a bit about me, enjoy!
I have been working online for almost 3 years now on an on/off basis. The reason I wasn't doing this full time before is because I was still at college doing exams, however I have now finished college and have been trying to get a job somewhere. Sadly, there is literally nothing going in my area using the knowledge I have gained from college, so I have went back to doing internet marketing because it is something I really enjoy learning and applying.
Getting back into this has made me realize that this really is the lifestyle I want! I want to be my own boss, I want to be able to have flexibility in my life and I would really love with all my heart if I could finally make a decent success online. I am just working on getting to that stage...
In my three years of IM I have made roughly $1500, I know, nothing great at all! This was all done through white hat methods with legitimate sites, sales and many hours spent online. Thinking on it now, all that hours spent to just make around $1500 seems pathetic. I would have been better off if I never went to college and instead got a shitty minimum paid job working 9-5...
Anyway, I am now more determined than ever to make this work! I have nothing but free time on my hands along with a shit load of knowledge that I have gained from this forum as well as a few internet marketing courses along the way.
I seriously do have a burning desire to succeed online. I would love to be able to prove to all my friends and family that have doubted me on numerous occasions that there is serious money to be made online, and that I have managed to do so! Oh the looks on their faces would be so satisfying...
I even have dreams about this sort of internet marketing stuff at night. I mean who the hell has that... I should be having dreams about winning the lottery and crazy sex filled adventures, but no, even when my mind is meant to be at rest from this stuff, it is still thinking it over...
So, has anyone felt like this before? Knowing that you really want to make a big success online, thinking you are close to doing so but still getting literally nowhere? If you have, then I would love to hear your comments. What did you do to inspire yourself, what thoughts did you have at the time, and what tips can you share to help me break past this point? I am eagerly awaiting your responses!
