Do you workout? What supplements do you use?

Yeah, whey is natural but what about artificial sweeteners? Whey products contain loads of ace K and Aspartame known to cause serious illnesses. I'd steer clear of these and instead eat a lot of chicken and fish.

Depends on quality...

dude, only buy premium whey products. If every of whey supplement out there cause serious illness, you would hear a lot of bad stories from people who have been working out for 10 years or even more at the gym.

After all, if you've been that paranoid about what you eat, dont you realize a lot of fishes out there contain mercury nowadays and can cause serious cancer in long run? Nothing is really clean nowadays, not even organic foods.

Myself use optimum whey protein and also Jack 3D before exercising

I take only multivitamins and raw flax seed for omega 3/6 fats. Soon I'll be experimenting with glucosamine for the joints and some glutamine for anti-catabolic effects. As for protein powder I stay away from those since I can get more than enough quality protein from meats and cheese. The most important thing is to figure whether you want to bulk or cut and be consistent with the diet, because diet > workout.

Depend on your training style and target. If you primary target is muscle mass, you have to use several popular supplements: whey protein, creatine monohydrate and glutamine.

Do not use cheap products. Choose only the best products and invest a bit in your body. Also do not use many supplements in the same time, because you will never know which one boost your progress. Of course you have to eat...a lot or at least very often - around 6 times daily + 1-2 times whey protein. Dont be scared from a little bit extra body fat. You have to improve your body weight and muscle strength. You can burn the fat later.

Use barbells and dumbells in your muscle mass period. Avoid exotic supplements and modern machines. Build your body old school with hardcore workouts like squats. Do not waste your time in the gym, stay focus and work hard.

p.s. If you respect your life (and balls) do not even think about steroid supplements...ever!

I'm a "cheater"...

1. liquid L-Carnitine (GNC)
2. Amplified Creatine 189 (GNC)
3. Amplified Whey Protein (GNC)

I have a mini home gym and also go for a few walks a day.

Super Test 500, Deca 250 and DBOL / Winstrol depending what mood I'm in!!

Haha naw, i just take superpump 250 and whey, but one solid cycle 2 years ago put me up to 18 stone and i've maintained a lot of size. I'm only like 220 now, but the guns are still like POW.

Decide what you want to achieve and do your homework

Awesome reference for this stuff is The Four hour Body by Tim Ferris
lot's of data collected and analysed

Also do yourself a favor and if you decide to use any type of Protein Powder check the cholesterol levels - some of the cheap whey proteins will have your bad cholesterol through the roof in no time

Im 19, 6'2, 210lb and around 8-9% body fat! For people who say you can get the results without supplements, they are right, but it will take a LOT more and a LOT longer! If you are doing it for fitness and the feel good factopr, then stick to eating protein filled foods, but if you want shit loads of muscle on your bones, then you need to be serious about your supplement stack + a SERIOUS diet + hard training!

Well judging by the fact that you have a GSP avatar it sounds like you want to be bulky and lean... I'm a pro Mixed Martial Artist myself (not quite the level of GSP...yet) and because we workout for hours a day we need more calories and more protein. If your only lifting and doing light cardio, you can expect to gain weight, with that amount of calories.. we have to be very careful what we eat espically close to a fight, you however will not have to worry so much about your weight, but you still need to make sure what you eat reflects what you want your body to be... as far as protein supplements, yes it's true that you get better protein from eating fish and chicken breasts, but your body only uses about 40g of protein a meal no matter how much protein you eat.. If you want to be lean, yet are worried about your weight I would suggest eating about the same amount of protein in grams as you weigh. For example, if your 200lbs, you should be taking in at least 200g of protein a day. You should be getting your carbs from whole wheats and greens... as far as supplements other then your protein just take a multi vitamin and fish oils.. most supplement literally don't do anything...

Without knowing what you want your body to be, i can't really give you any more information.. some people want the body builder look, some people want the MMA fighter look, etc.. every diet is different for what your trying to do.. I also fight at 170, but GSP walks around at 190 and cuts, I walk closer to 195 and cut so when you see guys like GSP fighting at 170, don't think that that's his actually weight.

I'm on the left
