Hi,

I am only just getting into CPA really and I think my tactic must have a flaw.

I have 500 clicks a day on average on my CPA offer which is a simple email submit for the niche iphone 5. The network EPC is $0.10 yet I have only two sign ups after over 3000 clicks...

My method is common no doubt but still the traffic is related so why such a low conversion?

Method... tweet attacks... 5 accounts... following 50-150 a day... direct message them all with link to offer... wait and reply different search terms related to iphone... posting around 20-24 tweets a day per account with about 8 of them replies to keep the accounts alive.

Whats the issue? :(

stay in same situation...
But my idea who can think in 2011 to win an free iphone 5 on a survey?
I think for had an better epc need an content locker and offer an free ebook..
I think dating is the niche to chase is the way..
Find people dont had an sex relation is more simple to get an nerd on twitter want an free iphone:D

With twitter traffic.. the truth of the matter is that it is very low converting and is nothing like search engine traffic. To get a higher conversion rate you need to create a twist or even make who you are targeting more specific.

As the landing page is well designed and the netword EPC is $0.10 it is should be a real money maker.

I'm sure the dating / sex niche would be great in some scenarios but I cant see how on twitter. Its not like Facebook where you can target people who are single as people do not have profiles saying they are single on twitter. How would you target these people on twitter?

try different offers/niches.
If they are the same change your tactics maybe or get a different traffic source

The clicks could be from a country, in which the offer doesn't apply

I will try to be more specific with a few accounts see if that changes. Cheers

Hmm thinking of bulking the operation up to 25 accounts 5 private proxies per CPA. I have a few accounts banned but still the private proxies are working fine.

I looked at this but 95% the traffic is going to the correct landing page. Other countries are getting redirected to other landing pages relevant for them and this is actually where I have made more money :S !

Twitter traffic generally is pretty bad.. try tweaking your landing page

So it'll be better to use Twitter to build a list?

The CPA uses there own landing pages so I can't and its pretty good :/

So you're direct linking them them the offer. Yeah with twitter that traffic usually never converts that well. Try making your own landing page that has a presell that will make them click the offer link and want out the offer details, then see how your conversion is.

here is the issue plain and simple - your clicks are from bots. end of story. and by the way, twitter traffic is not good quality. i have learned these things from experience. trust me. i had the same exact problem as you. i suggest running away from twitter and get traffic from better places

Good idea.. more work but it will give me a better conversion rate plus I could add a content locker to the page as well.

CPA might not be the best way to profit from Twitter. The low traffic quality, relative ease to spam, ad blindness coupled with the number of automated bots make it almost a nightmare if you don't apply your own twists.

Here's the deal. Either you go for volume, increasing the number of replies per day maybe creating a second stream of revenue by selling all those clicks as traffic to 3rd parties or you find different niches that might be less traveled than apple's products... Or both.

Adding a landing page might be better, as suggested, but YMMV. And wildly so. HTH!

To the OP: I think too many people are trying exactly the same offer.

When i first got TA, which was not so long ago. I did the very exact same offer as you!

I personally think the offer is too common to get conversions and the clickers are more curious tweeters than are interested on the actual offer.

If you check the replys on your bit.ly link i bet you have a lot of people reporting your accounts or badmouthing your replys.

I have not mastered the method yet myself and it can be a little frustrating having your accounts banned :D

Well I do have bit.ly link but I get TA to make links unique so no comments on bit.ly as it only shows 100 or so clicks.

And I would agree with you on the iPhone 5 offer being over saturated if it wasn't for the high network EPC rate.
