Yahoo Answers?

Yahoo answers is an excellent source of easy backlinks. Just be sure to use a real website, not an affiliate link.

Also, I don't know where you are from but you can hit multiple countries in the answers as well.

Yahoo answers are do not follow, however Yahoo Answers is heavily scrapped and your posts will be reposted as someone else's content on numerous sites that are do follow.

Yahoo answers is a great source of traffic, but stay on topic and do not spam and it can be rewarding.

Also remember that only a fraction of your answers should contain links to your own for profit sites. Create a reputation for each persona that is trusted. Answer questions in multiple categories like a real person might. Send some love to other trusted sites like wikipedia or straight back to google and/or yahoo.

In other words, "Keep it real."

Well, that's one way of doing it, but it stands to reason that you won't get much traffic if your link isn't in the post.

If you want traffic, put your link in every post, and post as much as possible.

That's hot! too bad its !@#$#@@ WINDOWS crap. I'd totally fork out 97 bucks for it. Bastards, if you're reading this please make a mac version.

Ok, if you are doing things manually like I am, you won't see those yahoo links immediately on the back links. they do take some time.

You need to answer some questions w/o links to things like a normal person would. You need to put the reference site in the reference box. You need to look like a normal person just asking and answering some questions.

I don't know what you people are doing to get accounts banned. :D

LOL Macs aint for the black!

hats that is. LOL

yeh it does work wanders for sure. i dont do it that much. but not to long ago. about 3-4weeks. i did a test. one niche. one blog. one cpa offer with some banners and articles.
i answered some questions on this niche and was testing for about a week. and in that time i had 4 sales on the cpa offer all from yahoo answers traffic.

like others have said. dont just spam your link.. be informative with your answers. tell them what they want to hear. if you have a article related to their q. then send them to that article page. whcih will then have some baners and text links to that offer etc. yeh i lost one account. but hey. just made another and another and move on lol. but after that test i can say that yahoo answers does work. you just need to play it right. watch what others are doing aswell.

Oops, just had a Yahoo answers fest, putting my links in ALL of them. Oh well, I can always start a new account if it comes to that.

IMO it's all about finding the right niche.

Hey, I read somewhere, that if you spam yahoo answers then you can get your site banned from YAHOO, not only the account, I know Yahoo is not Google, but I for each 4 visitors I get from Google I get one from yahoo.
I would appreciate if someone can confirm whether it's true or not that the website will be banned from Yahoo SE.

Thanks

Keeping it "real" has always worked best for me when using YA. I've got a great reputation, am actually really helpful with my answers, and never post a direct affiliate link. I get several repeat visitors to my site that I attribute directly to Yah00 Answers, and every so often my site is back linked on blogs run by people asking questions.

It's by far my only means of promotion, but taking the time to answer 5 questions whenever I can has helped tremendously.

yahoo answer is a best way to generate real traffic for your web site, I don't see anything other than traffic.

I don't know how well this works anymore, but I used to get a very nice amount of traffic from here on my proxy sites. I'd look for people asking how to get to myspace/facebook from school (there were always like 10+ people asking this exact same question every few days) and I'd just write a helpful answer briefly explaining proxies, and include the URLs to several of my newest ones. SEO isn't always the best choice for proxy sites anyway as they tend to get blocked rather quickly, so for pure traffic it worked pretty well, since these sites spread via word of mouth by kids at school if your domain name is easy to remember.

Unlikely, if it was like that then I could spam YA with links to my competitors' websites so that I can rank best in Yahoo, if you see what I mean.

BTW guys, creating a new account and then answer 20 questions promoting your link, bad idea.

Dan08, I agree with you!

This is how I profit from YA!

I create free WP or Blogger blogs on specific targeted niches.

I create 2 accounts per niche. I keep everything (email, passwords, blogs) organized in an excel file.

Each blog is full of helpful related content with CPA offers targeting the demographics of the particular niche, Clickbank products and adsense.

The secret is to KEEP IT REAL. 20% of my answers contain no links..the other 80% contain links to my blogs.

The traffic is good and the sales are good to all three money sources: CPA offers, Adsense and Clickbank products.

I tend to find it easier to just ambush Y!A. I usually get one account per day banned, but I usually get some decent profit while the account is active.

then i just make another one...repeat

Precisely. Who gives a shit whteher you're banned or you have a good reputation or not? The point is to get traffic, that's all.

It's good but be sure to profide some good free info on ur landing page. What I don't like is that YA is no-follow and usually traffic dies out if you don't promote each day.

Not true. if you answer enough, your answers will be found when people search Y!A and/or Goggle, providing traffic for a very long time after you posted.

Yep, but they can't delete your answers before they ban you can they?

Is is ok for me to post a landing page that is selling affiliate products in yxhoo answer?
