Hi i was wondering about the url you put in the source part in yahoo answers. Is it worth posting in yahoo answers because there isnt anchor text and is it do follow? And does anybody know where i can find people for link exchanges for my sports themed squidoo page. Thanks

its not ********

however its a good way to generate visitors to your sites

Yahoo answers is an excellent source of easy backlinks. Just be sure to use a real website, not an affiliate link.

Also, I don't know where you are from but you can hit multiple countries in the answers as well.

Yeah i have been spending 20 mins or so a day posting in yahoo answers but i havent gotten any traffic from it yet.

That's because you're only spending 20 minutes per day. The more hours you spend, the more traffic you'll get. Depending on the niche, the best time is when it's about 1800 - 2200 in the USA.

That's 6:00pm to 10:00pm for the military time impaired :p

I don't know if it would be worth it though..I've been suspended twice already! They wouldn't even specify the reason "why"! I was only really being err...helpful..never posted affiliate links...only links to the blogs I maintain...They only told me I violated the community guidelines blah blah blah!

But I must agree in a sense that it had driven some traffic to my sites. Until I got suspended, that is. I asked them why, and I haven't heard from them since.

That's just cheeky...I mean, there are lots of other spammers over there! I've been putting in relevant answers! How do I get un-suspended??? I don't want to have to create another account.:(

@ erascal
Create 50 accounts, (or buy 50) get yourself some proxies and get posting. Suspended accounts are a fact of life, I go through about 30 per day.

Yeah? And that would be in what time zone? :D To be specific: 6:00-10:00 PM to 10:00PM-2:00 AM...:p
OK, so I wasn't quite specific enough, but you knew what I meant didn't you? Dude, I'm giving you solid advice, if you're only playing games you should have said so and I'd have spun you a load of bullshit.

Are you allowed to post your website link in the source box in every answer (as long as it is relevant) or just a few here and there?

You know I was just playin' man. There are people here who might live outside the US.

And hey, I DO appreciate the advice; the reason I dig this forum so much is because I know I'd be getting serious preps, no bullshit. So I'm gonna take your word and create 49 more accounts. Thanks.

Check out Answer Sniper, if you want to really dominate Yahoo answers you need to look at getting the advanced version of this software.

It allows you to post multiple campaigns automatically and have them answered automatically as well.

I just recently found out how quality Yahoo answers traffic can be, I set up some Squidoo lenses for various CB products and promoted like hell with article marketing and Yahoo answers. After an initial boost of traffic from ezinearticles the traffic to a particular lens went dead and was only getting the occasional hit from Yahoo answers. A few days a go that very lens made a sale from someone who visited through Yahoo answers, and that was out of what 15 hits tops in total from YA.

That's hot! too bad its !@#$#@@ WINDOWS crap. I'd totally fork out 97 bucks for it. Bastards, if you're reading this please make a mac version.

Ok, if you are doing things manually like I am, you won't see those yahoo links immediately on the back links. they do take some time.

You need to answer some questions w/o links to things like a normal person would. You need to put the reference site in the reference box. You need to look like a normal person just asking and answering some questions.

I don't know what you people are doing to get accounts banned. :D

Correct, in fact they take so much time that you'll be dead before they actually appear as backlinks. That's because they are all nofollow.

I've played around with this a bit. Haven't got banned, but I really haven't done anything to aggressive. I would ask a question that contained a long tail keyword, than I'd come back a few hours later and answer it with another account. Set it as the best answer and submit it to a few social bookmarking site - and sometimes it ranks top 10 in google.
