And of course that is what you're all doing right? I mean what would be the use of even using linkpushing if you aren't 'propping' them up.

What does 'propping them up' mean to you??

OK - I just sat down so send some links to one of my previous pushes.

Hand checked the 23 PN Blogs for this push and only 1 is live. The 1 that is live only contains 1 link, which is to another link that is dead.

Of the 14 Web 2.0 properties listed, 7 are dead. Of the 7 that are live, 3 contain links to dead sites.

So out of a possible 37 links, I have 4...

OK - maybe I picked a bad apple, so I went to another month and randomly picked another push to hand check... after all I set aside this morning to back link some links so I wanna find some live links - beats sanding and painting my deck, which is also on my 'to do' list today!

Out of 18 PN Blogs all 18 are dead.

Of the 14 Web 2.0 properties 5 are dead and 2 link to dead sites.

So for this push I have 7 links out of a possible 32...

Just to be fair I went to another month and again picked a random push to hand check.

So that's 5 out of a possible 33 links...

All those pushes are a couple of months old, as I don't like to send links to my pushes until they've been up for a month or two, so I thought I'd check a push from last week...

Of the 8 Web 2.0 properties 2 are dead, 1 links to a dead link and 1 article doesn't contain a link - so there's only 4 good links there.

Of the 33 PN Blogs, 16 are dead...

All the flack I got about checking with SB and my hand checking gave me worse numbers!

I am NOT trying to flame anyone. I have stuck with this service for 6 months because the idea is awesome and these guys seem like the real deal. When I started and everything was working well, I did see some serp movement but lately it's been flat - hence the extra looking back at what's dead and what's not.

I guess what I need to know is when all these PN blogs will be back up?

Otherwise it really feels like I'm spinning my wheels here and could be doing something that gives me a better return on my money until this issue is resolved, as I WOULD like to use this service.

I took a day and hand checked most of my linkpushes also. I got similar results as you did. I'm assuming though it is because of the server migration.

So I'm assuming that most if not all will come back when all the server migration work is done.

Surfer Dude, your post concerned me so I just checked my past linkpushes and have discovered the same. I have some web 2.0 links going to other peoples articles and backlinks . I have a lot of 404's or non existent sites. I also have banned accounts. I have very few backlinks per linkpush that are actually live.

Greg, are there any assurances that these problems are going to be addresses/fixed and any further clarification to customer concerns? I'm always pleased with your quick responses and kind help however personally, if my clients become unhappy with the reporting and the serp movement of their sites, I could lose contracts and a sizeable chunk of my income.

Would love to see what is going to be done about the dead backlinks. My push from last month only have about half of the backlinks actually working.

Absolutely they are; the blogs are all being migrated to different servers and the entire database is going with it.

We have been testing the new servers for the past 2 months on about 100 domains that are not yet being used in the service and they are EXTREMELY stable.

The process to move the blogs is very cumbersome and we do not want to outsource any of that to protect the site information of our clients and thus is not a fast process.

Man, it literally took me about 16 seconds to go to my bookshelf (yeah I'm kinda old school like that I read books) and find the meaning of the word and its derivatives:

I have seen no, 'Please can you help', or 'Thank you for bothering to try to help me'. Nothing, nada, zip.

No one is going to get spoonfed by anyone on here because they've all paid their dues and earned their stripes.

When I first saw Greg's thread I read through every single page, (there was about 45 of them at the time). It took me about 7/8 hours, I then read the entire contents of his site and watched every single video (about 3/4 times each) and I made notes a long the way.

I studied these notes and came up with some relevant questions because I didn't want to embarrass myself by coming across as ignorant. I pm'd Greg with some and posted some on here and I damn well made sure that:
1) I started with, 'Hi, I'd really appreciate your help, I understand x but I don't understand y'.
2) I finished with, 'Thank you very much'.

As soon as it came out I read Greg's linkpushing e-book and learned that.

Thinking, 'I can't be bothered reading through all that', is literally wasting dozens of pages of seo gold.

All the info about linkpushing, seo and IM is either in this thread or elsewhere in BHW but you will have to find it, it will not find you

Thanks for your reassurance Greg, that's all I wanted to hear. As I said before, I find that the linkpush process does work for my sites, coupled with other linkbuilding methods.

As I also previously mentioned, Traffic Travis shows the top 5 backlinks for each of my sites (by domain authority) and they are almost all from the linkpushes so I know for a fact that they are being picked up and are contributing to the website's serp movements.

I do the SEO for several high street and well known brands in the UK and I've used linkpushing for every one of them. I have 12 sites at the minute and all but one are moving up rapidly. As long as the backlinks stick, and the sites continue to move up then we are in business buddy.
