The previous night i read over the whole $15,000 Hybrid method thread and while the idea of it did sink in, some of the specifics didn't. The following are questions i came up with after failing to find answers from the thread:

1) He mentioned how he likes to start off ranking a clients keywords by himself first, then, after working on it for a month, outsources it. In order to seo a clients site, is it required that you do it manually (which i have little idea how to do) or can you use automated software's, if so which ones are considered white hat?

Are these good ones?
Scrapebox (a must have)
RankTracker (for sending reports)
SEO Powersuite (you can find a crack her on BHW)
SENUkeX
Bookmarking Demon
Linkpushing (A service found here on BHW)

2) After putting in your work and when you're ready to outsource the SEO'ing, do you guys go for the indian firms on elance/odesk (charging hourly fixated rates of $15-$60)? And if so, do you have them continuously update your site for the client for the period they are with you, or do they just do a one time service for you and you continue the rest?

Any additional questions i think of, i'll post

I think you may have misunderstood the model... He creates his own sites, ranks them
and then sells exclusive advertising space to businesses in his local area.

All of those tools are blackhat. Thats the point whitehat is a means of manually building
links thus appearing very natural to google but when using automated tools is what
makes it blackhat as you can make a very large number of links at one time, although
I would say that the service linkpushing is considered whitehat as it is so chaotic that
its pretty much untraceable. SEO powersuite is a research tool used for tracking
ranking results, finding competitors backlinks and just general research.

In regards to outsourcing I personally prefer the services in the BST section. Some of
the members here really no their shit and it is worth every dollar that you spend just
make sure you do your research and read the reviews!

Ones that I have tried myself are - Internalsoul's - Link Pyramid, Botwiz - Linkpwn 1 and
Dripable and currently trying MrE's Blog network these are all very reputable members!

So, wait, If your site is caught or recorded as having used blackhat means to rank does anything happen to your site? And, when you outsource your work to those indian/phillipine SEO firms, do they use whitehat methods only?

Well if you over do it with the backlinking tools and google catches you doing
it you may very well be penalized for it. And the outsourcers I was talking about
are members of this forum you need to check the buy, sell, trade section.

Okay, really appreciate your help thus far Hybrid, but i still need further clarification on two thing's still. When i go to the BST section most of the people are selling Backlink lists (comment and trackback auto-approved url's) here: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/buy-sell-trade/285078-nearly-30k-backlinks-19-days-get-cutting-edge-linkbuilding.html . Would using those lists with Scrapebox be a viable means of ranking a clients page? And you still haven't addressed whether or not the outsourcers manage your website on a monthly basis for you? So far i found this one site offering monthly Backlink service where they give your urls 100,200,500,1000 etc backlinks Daily, do you reccommend using that? here: hxxp://backblasts.com/

Bad Idea to try and use these tools directly on client site. By all means use them on your own site or indirectly, but if you get a client site deindexed or banned, you'll likely have a lawsuit against you...

If you are finding lists for sale you are in the wrong section you need the
services section : http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/f43-buy-sell-services/

You seem very new when it comes to SEO I would strongly advise doing
some more research on the subject, there is much for you to learn before
you should even be thinking of touching a clients website. I would never
do a direct scrapebox or xrumer blast directly to someone elses website!

When I outsource my link building on BHW almost all of the services
only offer a pay per package ie 1 link pyramid. I just do what I feel is
needed to rank my site but I never do to much to soon, slow and steady!

Currently im trialing dripable (botwiz) which is 4000 links a day, but im
blasting my web 2.0 properties but only been doing this for about a week
so I cant comment to much on results yet its way to early.

Phew, now i'm no longer confused, thanks a ton Hybrid!!

It seems abbas might have gotten MY $15,000 method thread mixed up with the Hybrid method which also has the number 15,000 in the title.

My thread is what you quoted there, those are the tools I use to rank a clients site, but I know what i'm doing.

The Hybrid method is completely different. In that, YOU own the sites and rank them for yourself, you then rent space monthly for an income.

Both are very sound methods. I am running the SEO for small-large sized companies model right now and am about to set my foot in the renting website model soon.

How I outsource my SEO is to first come up with a plan. I do the following.
-Determine what kind of links I need (articles, web2.0s, etc)
-Find one supplier per each type of backlinks
-Put together all backlinks into a report which I send to the client

The reason I don't get just one guy to do all my SEO is because I think I know my SEO pretty well and I like to be the one determining what kind of links are being built to my clients' websites. Also I usually find that it is usually cheaper if I buy one service at a time. Not everybody specializes in all kinds of linkbuilding. There are people who specialize in one or two services.

I mainly use BHW's BST forum to get professional SEO providers. When you want SEO, look in an SEO forum ;). Most of them are 1 time fees for a 1 time job, which is fine. Another good resource is Fiverr. I mainly use Fiverr to backlink my Tier 1 links.

In conclusion, I like to manage my SEO campaigns. I outsource the physical linkbuilding but not the process of coming up with a structure or the administrative aspects of my campaigns.

Hope I helped a bit.

Thanks aStroke, you helped a ton, but once again i'm failing to understand the same thing; you mentioned how you usually pay for 1 time jobs, so my question is: do you continue the linkbuilding process or have someone maintain it for you? Also, could using services like dripable be a good way to maintain your websites rank, after it's been ranked of course?

You will find that once you get to the number 1 spot you may only want to
throw 1 link pyramid or just some high pr links per month as once you are already
there you want to cut the costs on that site, but it really depends which model
you are focusing on like taktical mentioned, if its my site I back off a bit when
it gets to the top, I still build links but not as much, but if its your clients site
they are paying you to do SEO for them so thats what you need to do, just
keep in mind that when building dripable links aim them at your web 2.0's not
the actual moneysite.

Dripable when aimed at web 2.0's doesn't actually create new backlinks
to your money site it is only passing on the link juice so be sure to build
more backlinks to.

So its okay to point them at your clients actual web 2.0 properties or just the 'dummy' web 2.0 you have set up. Reading your posts, I think its the former, I just want to make sure.

You have been providing some really quality posts around here too, BTW, much appreciated.

Not a problem. I continue the linkbuilding process every month but I don't always use the same services because I like to keep my links diversified. If I know there is active competition within my niche, I step it up a bit just in case. As for monthly services, I use BTB's Linkpushing and Linklicious.

Ok as an example of what I mean is I would purchase say one link pyramid,
then after a few weeks have gone by I start to build links to those web 2.0's
that were created in the pyramid.

Say tier 1 has 3 properties and tier 2 has 6, I have been setting up the scheduler
in dripable to blast out X amount of links a day to those properties, im using the
4k a day pack currently and I also have an account with nuclear link crawler
with an api for dripable so its all autopilot.

Hope that answered your question.
