Is there software which can analyse the keyword count of my articles?

My results have shown a correlation between length and price.
The shorter articles (1-2 pages) have gone for less, the longer articles (4+ pages) have gone for more.

I've had success with this since it started but there are a few things I wanted to mention.

I submitted it together with a quickly rewritten article (in a separate niche) just to see whether there would be a difference in pay. I was offered $2.24 for both!

For those who are consistently getting close to $4 an article, what kinds of niches are you targeting and roughly how many words are your articles?

I have proven that they do pay better for keyword optimized articles. If a particular reviewer gives you a very low offer that you don't like, you can always delete it then resubmit it a fresh to see if you will be given a better offer.

Interesting. Are you using a particular keyword density in your articles? Doing this have you had offers increase from $2.24 to $4?

I have been writing articles for my white hat sites and have found that vista speech recognition works better than DNS.

I started out with DNS, then gave up, (bought a new computer) then decided to try out speech recognition.

It started out kind of rocky, but when you correct the words, the program learns fast. In another couple weeks, it would hardly ever make mistakes.

People can outsource all they want, but I have seen the quality of these articles. If I was an Indian, I would buy books in English, and just copy from them to give to dumb Americans trying to pay cheap wages.

No one answered my original question in the next three pages. If Indians have access to the internet, and professional English authors can receive 30$+ an article, then why aren't Indians charging 30$ an article? Common sense FTW!

I have seen the sitepoint marketplace and just how good these third world articles are. At best one is hoping to gain search engine traffic and hoping for a quick adsense click. The content is painful to read, almost like a half decent written Viagra spam email.

Writing isn't like manufacturing where you take the exact same factory in America and transplant it in China and receive the same quality goods. (or not judging by the amount of poison they ship here)

You people have to be aware that Australian writers can be had for around 3$ an article. Some people are just dirtbags, who are happy to sell out their countries. No wonder the West is in such financial ruin, when white people are too lazy to do their own work and need slaves to do the work for them.

Keep in mind that google is going to get better and better at delisting these crap sites and will only value high quality stuff in the next two years. Black hat SEO is already a dying breed. Look at the amount of successful blog farms today as compared to two years ago. The wild west that was the Internet has been tamed. I am trying to build a lasting business model; I just throw the black hat in for some extra money.

Since I gave up on AC, I had to have submitted over 500 articles.

I found that they frequently liked to give out the 2.24 if you submit 10 or so a day. As well, I found that payouts gradually decreased over the past month, although there are a couple nice editors who always seem to pay around 4$.

There was really no significant SEO difference in the articles and topics that I could tell, so there is a lot of variance depending on the editor.

Payouts will just get lower and lower in the future. If I was AC, I would keep gradually lowing payouts unless things leveled out.

Oh yes, and the editors are real stupid or else too busy reviewing articles. If you get an account banned, then you can submit the exact same articles over again and get another payout.

I dont think that you have to write about special topics or that keyword density matters. Before I stopped writing for AC I was making 4.50+ per every single article i submitted and they were all accepted. I wrote about various topics just anything that came to mind. When i first stared writing for AC i was getting 1.50-3.00 per article but the second week I got paid 4.50+ per article.

Product reviews pay well, not all of them though... just the type on brand new released stuff such as Cell phones, games, computer hardware and software etc. If you know that Intel or Amd have announced a hot new upcoming processor that not many review can be found in Google or on AC... That's a guaranteed $4+ if you do a review.

My 2nd highest payment came from a product review of a hot product that was schedule to be released two months before I wrote it. But my highest payment actually came from a keyword optimized article from a popular niche.

So my conclusion... proper keyword density is one of the surest ways to get higher payment, and then a review of a couple upcoming hot products would be my next pick.

I haven't gotten lower than $3 for all the articles which I did keyword research for before writing. I got a couple $1 for some of the last set I outsourced. Those really bothered me because I was paying $1 per rewrite.

What I've started to do now, since getting those low payment... is to check AC to see how saturated a topic is before writing about it also. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm sick of: "Unfortunately, this content did not qualify for a higher Upfront Payment offer because it does not differ enough from existing content on AC."

I thought everyone could benefit from this. I found a site that pays you in an unusual way for submitting articles.

50% of the page views of your articles you post to this site feature your AdSense advertising being shown. Not only that but 10% of the page views of articles posted by someone you refer will feature your AdSense. They even allow you to add video through either YouTube or video.google.com to up your advertising conversions. They don't allow you to put links in the article itself, but they do allow you to put two links in the author's box.

What happens when you post an article to this site is this: The first 500 characters of your article are posted to an incredible 33% of the sites in the Article Sense Network of Article Directories (currently around 90 sites and growing rapidly). Additionally, a link using the title of your article as anchor text is used to link back to your original article on the main site in the network. All of these sites will feature your AdSense on your article for 50% of the page views it receives.

That means that the authors box, which contains your two of your own links, is also distributed to 33% of this network. This provides you with a shitload of backlinks to whatever site/sites you are promoting.

This site offers an incredibly symbiotic relationship with it's users, in my eyes. I just signed up for an account, and I haven't had a chance to post anything there yet so I can't really verify how well the whole system works. It seems like a great idea in theory, though.

I have no idea how you can make a $3 article in 10 minutes.

I have unlimited unique content and it takes me 20 minutes just to make it presentable (grammar, headings etc)

I asked about this a few posts back but no-one replied; how much exactly do you have to "rewrite" any given article? Simple word-substitution with a thesaurus and maybe a few rearrangement of sentences? Or really understanding the article and rewriting it in your own words?

As long as it pass copyscape duplicate content test, then it's rewriten enough for submission.

There are two main methods of rewriting, you can first rewrite an article sentence-by-sentence, or replace different words with synonyms. But the main goal to rewrite enough to pass a duplicate content test.
