If you are using more than 2 tiers - youre wasting your time!

Does anyone here agree that anything beyond tier 1 and tier 2 is pointless? Do you think that you using tier 3, tier 4 and tier 5 is really going to make a difference when it comes to rankings?

I believe it to be bs to make people believe that it is more complicated than it is and it will blast your site to the top.

I would like to hear what everyone else thinks about this.

I've been doing SEO consulting for over 8 years now and I know Google inside out, it takes Article Submissions, Directory Submissions, Web 2.0 Properties, Blog Comments, Forum Profiles, RSS feeds, Social Networks, Social Bookmarks, you name it, I believe that diversifying backlinks and consistency is exactly what Google looks for when it comes down to rankings. Advanced multi-tiered backlink structures are proven to increase rankings dramatically.

Tiers of diversified random activity does definitely work. There are different strategies and methods on getting keywords ranked.

Seriously your post above has tons of merit... aside from what I offer as a service I have been testing something new with some very different and chaotic backlinking structures that are tiered as deep as 15 levels and the results thus far are outstanding.
 
My biggest success comes with 3 layer pyramids, randomizing the 2nd and 1st tiers.

2 tiers provide significantly less effect (I've tested this... several times)

I switch profiles, videos, bookmarks, 2.0s, articles (top dir) into tier 1 etc... works like a charm for MOST keywords (that aren't outrageously competitive)

I am just starting to learn how to do pyramids and you have me very curious.

Could you be more specific perhaps with an example?

And, are you doing AMR blasts to any level or to the money site?

Lastly, what do you mean by "I switch . . ."?

Oops... I just farted. I believe that amount of money but not from a piece of shit like you.

Do agree that Multi-Tiers and Random Activities can help ranking. There are many strategies to rank.

I'm curious how you do such a large 15 level campaign...
First layers on my campaigns are always 40-100 backlinks... each above layer (from my experience) needs to be at least 4 times the size of the layer it's linking to to maximize effectiveness.
Simple exponential calculations would indicate your 15 tier structure would contain billions of links

Say 40*4^14 = 10737418240
And that's what I would consider a MINIMAL bottom layer.
Even hypothetically doubling it each time... (which is a bare minimum as far as I'm concerned and I suspect your crawling on the layers would suck), 40*2^14 = 655k backlinks.

We do it a little differently you and I and that is good as you know. The 15 tier sturcture I am building is a bit different than you are seeing in your mind.

First tier is 19 sites.. all Web 2.0s.

Tier 2 is between 8 and 15 article directories and Web 2.0s to each of those 19... all random numbers.

Tier 3 is between 2 and 5 web 2.s and article directories.. again a random number.

I continue on with all the tiers like that having different numbers for each tier... all spun content.. currently all done manually as that is how I do all my testing.

Once everything is done, I'll load all the urls into SB and let that run for a day or so.

If this process does indeed work, and I am seeing great results right now, I'll automate it but I have to build a bunch of these and see if it is viable for long term results.

I actually got the idea on a plane flight up to NYC last weekend and have my stepdaughter, who works for me, doing all the manual building.
 
I never used more than Tier 2... But I think Using more than 2 tiers can benefit! (If you can automize it)
 
4 tiers is my max, anything over that and I don't bother.

Pretty interesting, but I'm curious if the benefit is really there over just a 2 web 2.0 pyramid ... I've tried 5 tier pyramids (and up to 6 I believe if you count side pyramids into the structure) and the success is good.
I'm not sure it's worth the added effort, but it def was slightly more successful.
 
I don't get it. What is all your motivations for doing more than two?

Cloaking links is the only real reason I see for doing tiers at all so unless you wanted to cover your tracks more what would be the point?
