Im not sure how you came up with that conclusion. If you read that thread, many tweetattacks users say they have no problems.
Currently there are tens of thousands of TA users including free users, and the people posting here about their accounts getting banned is not even close to 1%. If TA is leaving a foot print that making the accounts suspended, then all accounts of those tens of thousands of TA users should be dead by now.
It is very clear that it is not TA. But you can still check the headers that TA is sending if you want via wireshark or other similar application.

Here are the most common reasons why twitter suspends accounts. This is not just for TA but for twitter marketing in general. Wether you use TweetAttacks, TweetAdder, Firefox, IE, Chrome or whatever you are using for your twitter marketing campaigns.
Abuse
- I?m sure you all know what I mean with this. If your accounts are sending @mention messages 24\7, sooner or later those accounts will be suspended, that is for sure so never use your valuable accounts that way.
- For following and unfollowing, posting and other things.
Accounts get suspended when you set up the tool you are using to follow, unfollow, post etc with a super human speed. When using any automated tools, people want to make things faster, but that is not always good especially to twitter. Automated tools are here to do things that we don?t want to do by hand. Before hitting the start button, always think if a "real human" can do it that way or that fast. When following, think like a real twitter user, normally before they follow, they check the profile, read some tweets, read the bios etc before they follow the user. And that normally takes more than 10 seconds to minutes before they follow one person. So set TweetAttacks to do it that way. When posting, think how long a normal person can type a message and set the delays that way.
- First few days of the accounts are crucial, as much as possible don?t use the accounts to follow or post links on their first couple of days.
TA is very scalable and configurable so it is easy for it to abuse, sure we can make it do things slower to reduce chance of getting suspended but many users will surely protest.
Proxies
Not because you are using a proxy means you are now invulnerable. Of course that is not the case, your accounts can still get suspended when.
- You are using too many accounts in a single IP. For accounts that we protect, we don?t use more than 5 accounts per IP. And it is very rare that they run at the same time on multiple threads. If you are twitter and you saw that there are many accounts, doing almost the same thing on the same IP address, isn?t that suspicious?
- Other reason why you might still get suspended even if you use proxies is when other people are using the same proxy\IP as yours. So don?t use free public proxies and make sure that you buy proxies from reliable source that when they say they are selling exclusive proxies, the proxies should really be exclusive to YOUR use.
- You can still get suspended when the proxies given to you by your proxy provider is already used and abused by other twitter marketers before and already have a bad reputation in twitter. If you have your own proxy provider that works with TA, better use it and don?t share it with anyone marketing in twitter.
- Based on our observation, the more users a proxy provider has, the higher and the chance that they get account suspension issues. They might be checking the IPs or certain range or networks reputation. That?s why in the knowledge base article where we recommend proxies, we often change our recommendations and we told you that if you already have a good proxy provider, better if you stay with them.
- Some proxies are adding http headers to the requests and leaving footprints.
If you think there are problems with your proxies, request a new set and if there is still a problem, go with different provider.
Footprints
This is not about TA leaving a footprint, but the accounts you are using that are leaving footprints. This is when:
- You created multiple accounts in a single IP in a day. As much as possible create only 1 account per IP a day. If you want to create more, just wait another day to create another batch or increase your proxies.
- You created multiple accounts per day using an email came from unknown domain, usually catch-all emails. Better use real emails from known email providers like gmail or hotmail.
- Your accounts profile have the same bio and linking to the same url.
- Your accounts are tweeting the same tweets most especially the same links. Better use one account to tweet and let the others retweet it. Obviously it is not normal for many users to tweet exactly the same messages that are posted from web at close intervals.
- Your multiple accounts are following\mentioning the same people at almost the same time. Twitter can detect that and even if you let you pass, the accounts you followed will know and will report your accounts or block your accounts which will lead to suspension. If you want them to follow the same people, don?t run multiple threads.
Others
Twitter is changing continuously to remove the accounts that are using automated tools and real twitter users are getting smarter to identify spam accounts and when they see suspicious accounts, they often block or report it.
If you?re old settings (mostly delays) no longer works, or if the proxies that you are using are already having problems, change them. It?s funny that we sometimes receive messages like
?Ive been using this settings for long time now without problems but started few weeks ago Ive been seeing some accounts suspended week by week. Please fix your program.?
Many people are not expecting changes and always think that they are doing things right and don?t want to adjust and as a result, they always get their accounts suspended and getting worst then look for someone to blame.
Twitter and the people are always changing and you should too. I know because Ive been in IM for many years now especially in twitter, marketing in twitter now is very much harder compared to what it is few years ago.
Always adjust your settings, higher delays is always better and make your accounts look natural as much as possible.
