cheapest hosting for multiple sites

Hello there BHWers,


I'm planning to build like 90-100 sites.
Which hosting firm would you suggest me?
(I'm planning to buy the domains on the same platform as well, if that's possible. Or if you got another suggestion, I'd be happy to listen..)

I did some research myself and I saw HostGator, NameCheap and OVH.
Any good ones?

HostGator looks a lil bit more professional, though. No offense.

if you have many sites you buy reseller its cheap and good for you

You need a Vps /Dedi for so many sites
this cannot be done on shared hosting.

If you have a lot of sites to build get a dedicated server from OVH or Kimsufi (their cheaper sister company). It will save you in the long run. Plus, you can partition the server to run your own VPN *and* VPS on it, so if you are getting serious with IM, it will be cheaper in the long run.

You can find someone on any of the web hosting forums to set it up for you for about $20.

Plus, I personally find it easier to deal with SSH and the command line to roll out loads of sites, than trying to do each one via a control panel.

We are just as "Professional" as any other hosting provider, in fact more so than most. We own all of our own hardware, we don't outsource support so you will always get to speak with an american. We host many companies and businesses that don't even know what blackhat means.

I'm not even sure about the amount of sites. Right now I'll start with one & if I get clients & I'm simply gonna add them. It's probably gonna be 20-30 instead of 90-100. I'm sorry.

In which case get a dedi. Pay once, use it for many sites. Get one beefy enough, and you can run 2 VPS on it. One *nix for hosting, and the other Win 7 for Scrapebox, VenomSEO et al. Given that you will be paying about $25 or so anyway, at least get a real decent VPS.

Plus, seriously, doing a "cp baseWPdir newWPsite" is much easier than trying to cPanel or FTP all the time. So is administering MySQL. Plus, if you know what you are doing, you can tune and cache the hell out of that server. Plus, you can get fancy with monitoring your server, cron jobs, and running other exotic stuff that is hard to do on shared hosting. Much easier to backup the entire server than fiddling with multiple WP backup plugins on multiple sites ... (I don't trust hosts' claims of backups).

The only downside, compared to SEO hosts, is the limited IPs. Unless you plan to heavily interlink your sites though, this should not be a problem.

Check out Kimsufi prices for some amazing deals on Quad i7s and Xeons with 16Gb RAM and 100Mbs pipes. There are other server providers you can hunt for on hosting forums.

If you know unix, and know the command line, it really is a no brainer.

1 Suggestion to you guys... never buy a cheap hosting specially when hosting a wordpress site, because at the end it sucks due to load and shit .. so becareful! better buy a reliable site or you loose money in long way.
