One thing I am concerned about is the images and where you are pulling them from. I sure there are more than a few users here who experienced the attack of the copyright trolls when tools like Caffeinated Content and others pulled and posted protected images to their blogs. (I know one person who got hit 3 times before finally shutting down every blog he owned and re-building from scratch). At 300-3K per incident, it doesn't take long to get expensive - especially since its avoidable.

Can you guarantee that images posted to blogs are free to use and not subject to any licenses?
Thank.
SWA

Well what we do is we search on bing for images and use them. The thing is since you are using free platforms there is not much to worry about. Also they cant really press charges of theft because you are not downloading and using the image. You are hotlinking the images. Its easily avoidable from the websites end and most people do that rater than going ahead and causing legal issues.

Oh, forgot to ask...do you have an affiliate program?

Yes but we look down on users buying with there own affiliate links. We refund transactions when users do something like that.
Affiliate page: http://iautoblog.com/affiliates.html

Question and I hope this hasn't already been covered. I just converted to the paid version and noticed for my key word there is a considerable amount of advertisement of other vendors services. Does this go away with the paid version? My keyword are all around web design and dev. and my blog is advertising several someone elses services.

All links are ripped off before posting so from a SEO view point you are not really promoting them. As for content talking about competitors, well we are scraping articlebase right now. We are planning to add 3-4 more content sources by weekend too. But we can only post content that we find online :/..Would really recommend trying a bit different set of keywords.

-ronywilliams test posts are not visible on my blog (wordpress), i receive them in my cpanel e mail but not getting forwarded to blog. In my wordpress i setup settings in Setting > writing > post via email

You need to use SMTP mailing for wordpress. You can enter the posting via email email-id directly inside of iautoblog and use the SMTP to email. Also mail sure the email id you email with is the same as admin email id. The posts wont be automatically published without it! :)

-ronywilliams, I did setup smtp on iautoblog settings with same email id that i entered in smtp settings on wordpress. Are you saying that i should make this new email id as admin?

Admin email id => email id you created the wordpress.com account with or you can add the email id you are posting with as another admin for your WP blog.

yes i understand that but was not sure because if i receive any emails (not from iautoblog) on my admin email id then will they get post on blog?

Update: Not working even when i added that email as Admin.

This is for Wordpress.com... Hope you are not asking for self hosted

Inside of iAutoblog System
Receiver Email id: Your WP post via email
Feed Email id: Your SMTP account which is also the admin in your blog

PM me if you would like more details and are still confused :)

ok so will this not work for self hosted sites? Mine is not on wordpress
I cannot PM you yet i'm new user here need min 15posts

It does work on WP self hosted too. just the process is a bit different :)
There is a video for it in the demo section. You can email me the issue at "admin @ iblog.bz" incase you want a quicker and more detailed response regarding your case specifically! :)

:)

Hotlinking or not, if you hotlink an image owned by Getty or one of the others and that image appears on a blog that does not have permission to use that image, the blog owner will receive a Cease and Desist Letter accompanied by an invoice to pay in lieu of a suit for damages. Keep in mind, I'm not trying to pee on your picnic here, but it's a risk none the less. It would be one thing if you were only grabbing images that were free-use, but another entirely if you're grabbing any image that has a tag that matches the content you're looking for. That's a recipe for total disaster and someone's going to wind up on the wrong end of a lawsuit. At a minimum, they can make your life very troublesome. Of course, if the blogs are anonymous blogs, then there's no way to track them back to the actual people who set them up, then there's nothing to be concerned about.

Your account was automatically upgraded! :) ... As for an alternative for that. You can use the WP plugin postie: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/postie/

Some shared hosts dont like users using cron jobs that much.

The tags are different. We dont use tags which are the same. We are planning to add more image sources soon along with content sources so that should be sorted out soon if you are too worried. :) .. Most of our users use free blogs so there is no way they can really trace you.

Has anybody dared to put adsense ads on their iautoblog blogs? Also, I think we could use a private iautoblog forum - anybody second that?

There should no problems with adsense if they are not blogspot blogs. These blogs are technically the same as autoblogs just on free platforms. We can setup a private forum if some other more users request it too. That should not be something really be hard to accomplish. :)

ronwilliam -some of the article paragraphs seems to be incomplete with missing sentences or words in between. Is this due to use of pro spin? I'm going through articles and correcting them and spellings.

The spelling mistakes might be because of the pro spinner. I would really recommend using TBS for best results. There spin quality is a lot better! :)
