First mistake, "emailing paypal" as you say. I think everyone here knows how disputes are opened, and have dealt with the stupidity of some people who decide to throw out a dispute with paypal before contacting the seller. There is no "emailing paypal". Sorry.
You went in, started a dispute, THEN contacted the seller saying oh hi I want a refund now. They obviously were upset that you filed a claim against them without attempting to contact them first, like any normal sane person should do. You say you "emailed paypal" why was it so hard to email the seller instead of paypal? I mean the hundreds of posts and praise about SB alone should say "oh look, great support".
Second mistake was coming to BHW and saying you started a dispute against the creator of SB without contacting them, then contradicting yourself trying to cover up what you did. I'm sure everyone here knows the dispute procedure and no where in that procedure is there an "email paypal" portion.
Scrapebox is awesome software, and their support is flawless (at least to me since I've owned for (I think for over a year maybe?)). Had you went through the proper channel of communications I'm sure you would have had your refund by now.
Lesson: Read how to get a refund. If you don't get a reply in your email in 30 seconds they may be sleeping or busy. Give it 48 hours, and follow up with an Email. If that doesn't work then you go for the dispute. If you follow the proper way they asked for you to do, you should have your refund fast.
Meh sorry if I'm ranting here I just have a low tolerance for people who file claims without contacting the seller. It's just bad business to do that, especially to people who strive on keeping a good name in the community. Also I like to drag out the dispute process with paypal every chance I get when it comes to people who file a dispute without contacting me first. Just to piss them off for not contacting me first. I always am fair, but that just annoys me.
