[Journal/Method/spoonfeed] The 'Crashed Challenge' 30 Days to Money...

Yep, just use your initiative! You want to try and spread your posts out and make it look natural though.

Agreed. You can of course 'artificially' spread your posts out by changing the "posting date".

In other words, if you've already got 6 posts which you want to publish immediately on a brand new blog, you could back-date them over the previous week to give the illusion that you've been up and running for a while. I think it would look less suspicious to a visitor.

Having said that, I started setting up a new blog last night and have decided to hide the posting dates/times altogether. Two reasons: first, I thought it looked less cluttered (cleaner and more 'professional'); and secondly, if in the future you decide to stop posting for a while (say, after 30 days), then it will be less 'obvious' to fresh visitors that the site hasn't been updated for a period.

Obviously, the ideal thing would be to continue posting fresh posts ad infinitum, but I'm projecting way into the future here. What if, after a year, you've moved onto other projects, but there is still some money to be gleaned from this? By not having obvious post dates, everything will still look 'fresh' at first glance. Just an idea...

I'll probably leave the dates intact on another site, so I can compare the results.

Quick question. I've been through the entire challenge and I'm making pretty decent progress. About these affiliate networks though such as Peerfly, is it against the TOS to let's say shorten the banner's URL and give it out that way as opposed to having people go to it from your site?

Would be interested if you can can transfer domain+hosting to me. I'm stil making use of blogger blog. Money issues. Hope you can let me in on the challenge.

A few people already sent me a message, but I have no way of replying to their messages due to my post count, so..it'd be nice if I had a way of contacting you or whoever else by ways other than PM.

Tweetattacks stopped working for me today. When I click to initiate following people from a list, it just stalls a bit, then jumps to "done". Not a single person gets followed. Anyone know what's going on?

Hello!
I had a similar problem, maybe the same happens with your account.
In fact I set Tweetattacks to follow other users followers. But sometimes you reach the limit and already follow all of them. Tweeattacks then stops working as it doesn't find any new user to follow.
Try to change this setting and let us know.

;)

I had that problem with TweetAttacks yesterday, but I think I just started it again. and it worked.

So far getting about 50-60 UVs a day, no real income yet. Very neat and organized blog with much temptation to read. Hmm. I ended up getting $2 from adsense on the first day, but that was about 4 days ago.

For the "Follow from search results", it is now fixed. Download the new update, just open up TweetAttacks and you should be prompted. Twitter just made a few changes and the program just had to be updated.

if I switch to another hosting, do I need to redo any steps from this challenge? I will be transferring my domain to the new hosting.

Just to check - on Google Webmaster, I should have my site added twice right? Once with the "www." and once without? It's not updated with real statistics yet, and been a week since I set up so just wanted to check I'd done it right!

Yes, that's true.

I can't seem to get accepted to MB. I've tried twice, called them and left a message with my affiliate ID and mentioned I'm participating in the crashed challenge, but I always receive:

"Thank you for your interest but we are unable to accept your application as a
MaxBounty affiliate at this time."

What seems to be the reason? Is there any alternative?

Try IMing the manager. Usually their contact information is provided in the email you get when trying to register.

Day 16 SE Who?

Day 17 Crashed Who?

Now that crashed has lost interest here's hoping someone else can take up the mantle.

give the man a break ffs, he does not seem like the type of guy to quit ;)

have patience and be grateful for all that has been shared already.....
