Charged phone. I was booted off flight. I have all conversations. I told the kid that I would give him the start up money. We have been going through some major changes.

I believed in Tim and thought he could be a great asset. My partners were posses because ge was not online more than half the time and the leads were not called. We sent him warm leads! Over 60 leads but he ge sent us 4 proposals that he emailed and we checked the skype number that we paid for and only a handful were called. He has changed the password but I can access it again since we paid.

I offered to help him after realizing that he wasn't cut out. I even offered to sponsor his idea for a paintball team.

The paypal was limited because I logged in a different area. It happens with paypal. I offered to send him money via western union to his dad or a guardian. He kept sending me these various accounts and people to pay.

I made mistakes and I own up to it. I thought I was helping by giving him a chance. If you look overdestined screen name. He has solicited several.

The popcorn gif's were hillarious by the way. Overall, I really don't care what happens to me. I don't think I plan to use Black Hat World ever again. I'll just be that normal guy with a normal job which definitely makes him money. Just trying to warn everyone of a bad experience.

I was gonna ask about that, as I thought I'd read that in the rules. Glad to see someone was on the ball on that.

But the disgruntled worker is trying to use some dodgy send money to other people's accounts method to collect his salary. I understand he is 17 years old and i don't know enough about American law regarding bank account ownership, so can't really make an opinion on that issue.

Americans can easily have a bank account at 17. The OP's request on how and where to send the money seems sketchy as fuck. I wouldn't send him money that way, either. It SHOULD go to him, but his legal guardian would be the only acceptable alternative.

Kinda seems like it a little bit. Mugs might be a bit odd at times, but I've talked with him pretty regularly, and he has yet to say or do anything to raise a serious warning flag.

Requesting payment to be sent to a "friend" is a surefire warning flag. A big, fat one.

I don't understand the concept of wanting to be paid when no revenue was generated.

If that was agreed on, then that's one thing, but I'm not sure I saw any such exchange.

Also, I pretty much call BS on signing up as a 14-year-old. Not that it's impossible, but if this kid is from the US (as implied by his notion of Western Union), he couldn't legally receive a paycheck before he turned 15 years and 6 months anyway. I don't know what he'd do for a year and a half on this forum if he wasn't able to make money.

Thanks pyrogod117 for the information, things seem even more like a money laundering scam to avoid paying tax. If i was running a legit business and was hiring people, i would want my employees correct home address and bank account details or i would not hire them.

I personally wouldn't send any money, until the guy offers up an account that is in his name and with proper home address details.

Very tricky business this hiring people over the internet.

This is why I always preferred JVs. Two people who are responsible for covering their own asses come together to make themselves more money.

I think the "war" began in either late 2001 or early 2002. Either way, your guidelines are the Ten MFing Commandments of doing business online. I might throw in a preamble: "Whatever you do, COVER YOUR ASS! It's nobody's responsibility but your own."

the kid should be paid at least some of the money, although the westurn union etc should not be happening mainly because mugs company should be paying into a bank acc or paypal which is more legit and for tax purposes....

also mugs, watch who you do business with and what you say to ppl, i got a few ppl added me to skype just to tell me supposed stuff they knew about you, conduct yourself professionally and you wont go wrong... doing dumb deals like this your only fueling the fire

I've talked with mugs via Skype before and he is real. He was down to earth and He knows his shit. From the looks of this thread this was 17 year old kid looking for a quick check. Shit happens so mugs was late and a payment was missed... mugs said he would take care of it after he got. back in town.

Instead of being patient the kid freaked out a little, overreacted and started this little blackmail thread. Lots of corps would not send check via papal for many reasons. He was lucky mugs was even considering compensating him at all... I've had straight commission jobs before and 0 conversions means a $0 paycheck. That's life and that's IM...

Hopefully OP didn't mess up a good opportunity. 3500 a month would have been bank for a 17 year old. But who knows the truth...

If you're going to argue about that subject, this topic is probably not the place to do it, as this topic has to do with circumstances between Mugshots and the OP.
