You can't check a penalty, you just look to see if your rankings have dropped. He is saying his rankings dropped 50 places.

Not sure if this is gospel, but if you put your domain name into Google without the tld (i.e if your site is www.ghostswithpiles.com, then google "ghostswithpiles"). If your site is on page 5, then it is likely you have a -50 penalty.

This is true with one of my sites (I hammered it with SB and Xrumer - schoolboy errors). Trying to get it back with more quality links and content...

Just google dance, mate. Wait for next month, around 5-7 date every month. Google will update their database.
I got this experience too when using senuke x in the first month.
for second month, there will be up ranked higher than position before.

Thank you for your contribution, but the kind of penality it's different... with Minus 50 Penality you drop sitewide - 50 position of all keywords.. and I think that this kinf of approch don't work in this case

-50 or -78987809 penalty is a make up. You are just down some scores. Do what you have done before. Nothing extra and you wil come back stronger.
