-50 Google's penality.. how to exit?

Hi! tonight a lot of my sites was hit by a -50 Penality. These sites was ranked very well on google.it for a lot of competitive keywords and now they jumped from first page to 5/6 pages.
This penality hitted in a SiteWide Way.. all keywords dropped.
Anyone know how this kind of penality work? It's time baseb penality?
I don't know if the reason is of on over optimization on On Page Seo.. the penality hitted a lot of my sites.. some AutoBlogs... and some Original Content Sites. They are hosted on the same server and have the same IP (I know isn't a smart thing) .
But now.. how can I have to work to exit from this penality? There are others way then Google Sites Reconsidaration? If I continue to build Seo the sites rank up from the 5/6 page or the penality freeze me in that position?

Hi! I've check it in simple way.. I've look the rankings.. All Kaywords (Home page, internal pages) of my sites dropped from 1-5 positions from first page to 50/60.. in the same time.

Have you been adding some low quality links lately?
 
You can check for a g00gle penalty at g00glepenalty.com/penalty-checker/ (change the 0 to o)
 
that is actually a peace of crap tool cause it only could identify if your site is banned by google or not. And there are no penalty checkers only which could show you something true. It my opinion it`s just a dance - happened to me a couple of times.

Yes, it's possiblie... I've outsourced the Seo of one of my sites.. and yes... it's possible..
But my question is.... If I continue to developo good backlinks and so on.. I can rank up from 5/6 pages or the only way it's that google depenalize the sites?
Anyone test something in this way?

In your opinion it's a time based penality? Or it's needed a manual review of Google's staff?
 
If it is a manual review penalty, it could stick there for anywhere from 2-3 months to a year. It IS time based however..

If you fix whatever they gave the penalty to you for and put it up for reconsideration "google webmaster tools" it MAY fix the problem sooner.

Take this with a grain of salt, since i haven't personally verified any of this. If I'm remembering correctly i read somewhere a while ago that new websites start with an 80%ish penalty right out the door which then gets decreased every 3-6 months. So using that logic, it gives you a general idea on the quality over quantity of links you'll need to pull out of it for the time being if nothing gets resolved though Google.
 
Your sure it's not just a google dance? Wait 48 hours and check it again, if there is still an issue then re-evaluate how you create your backlinks

Yes... I'm sure because the penality Hit a Lot of my sites, new sites (1-2 months) and older sites (1 year and so on). AutoBlogs, Unique Contente sites , White Hat links, BlackHat links ecc. ecc.
The only one thing there is in common of all the penelized sites is a Very Well Optimized WP template that I've coded myself.
I think that there is the possibility that this template can be consider OVER-OPTMIZED.
I've tried to Change the templete from 1 of my White Hat Sites, and submit the Reconsideration Request.
I hope in the next days to receive a response from Google's staff.
Now I'm cheking if there are other possibilities to Push up the sites from this.
I don't undestand if this penality freeze the sites on the 5/6 pages or if with a good linkbuilding is it possible to cliam up the serp again.
For Now 1 thing is clear.. in one night I've loose a 100$/day revenue.
A big Fu*%*%d slap in face from Google.
In other way i've learned a big lesson: NO FOOTPRINTS.
 
You talked about google.it so i suppose you are italian.
The same thing has happened to me in the past and the sites have never come back. I had some sites on same server and they received the same kind of penalty.
 
I also have to add that i have noticed a lot of other sites that got same penalty on google.it
This usually happens to sites that are in insurance or financial niches. I think that those serp on google.it are checked quite often by google team.

I was hit with a penalty, if that is what you want to call it, I dropped to page 15 about 2-3 months ago. Here is what I did.

1. Write unique content and add 1 to 2 pieces of content per week
2. Post to high pr blogs only (no spam)
3. Submit articles to article sites
4. Submit to high pr forum sites (no spam)
5. Create web 2.0 sites 1-2 or more per week. Use scrapebox/AMR/forum posts to create links to these sites.
6. Cloak affiliate links
7. You don't need alot of links you just need quality links.
8. Point to authority sites from your site.

Within about 4-5 weeks on was back on page 1.

This is just my experience but it worked.

Thank you for your contribution, but the kind of penality it's different... with Minus 50 Penality you drop sitewide - 50 position of all keywords.. and I think that this kinf of approch don't work in this case
